Can't agree about Partington. Once again the game revolved around him too much. Doesn't win enough ball (air or ground) for my liking. Always looks to me as if he's going to make a big cock-up & cost us dear as he never seems to have the ball under full control, and his passes therefore are a bit rushed. Seemed to be a better player on the right rather than in the centre. However, I will be happy to be proved wrong in time. OK, time's up

From the majority of comments you been proved wrong already e4bandrobinstubbs but you are entitled to your opinion but to say you will be happy to be proved wrong in time. Who needs to prove to you? Most seem to say you are wrong already.

Must admit i havnt been a massive fan of partington. Hes a strange mix, really tall but not great in the air,a bit to slow at right back for my taste. But hes an intelligent footballer with a decent right foot who is always looking to play a good pass and seems to be growing nicely into the problem position of defensive holding midfield player. Its still early days but the centre-backs seem to like him in front of them and with sinclair and sercombe the midfield looks good right now. Anyway away game up next so lets see.

OK, time's up Sticking my neck on the line, I kind of agree with Stubbs, Partington has done well in DCM and at at times at RB but he isn't the most mobile of players which hasn't affected results against two mid table sides. I think and hope this is a stop-gap selection by DC and that he will get a player in Jan who'll be more of a natural in this position.

Mark I am going to have to disagree with you there, I thought he was outstanding in that role on Saturday, he mopped up a lot of the loose stuff and won more than his fair share of headers and tackles. All about opinions and I am happy that we have the opportunity to debate the playing side of the club at the moment - UTG
