Toys out of pram spring to mind but can't say I'm surprised.
Shame though.

Simon is a thouroughly decent and true gashead. I respect his decision to have/take a break.
Take Care Fella

Simon is a very likable chap.
No doubt he would be rolling his eyes at yet another forum drama.
He has made his decision to leave. He should be afforded respect and be allowed to do so without questioning it.

It's my fault, my 'positivity' thread divided the opinions of the tinters and the moaners!

Sorry I should have prefaced my post with imo. I just don't think he was devastated that we started winning. Fair one, my statement, as with most was tongue in cheek. But that doesn't detract from the fact that 99% of his posts were very negative. Clearly no gasheads want the team to lose but not so sure that all are prepared to fully back the players and manager we have. IMO I did wonder if it was banter and fair enough many of his posts seemed negative, however many of us who have seen so many false dawns finds it hard to feel enthusiasm for fear of disappointment

i think if you decide to post on a forum theres always a chance someone will strongly disagree with your viewpoint,,isnt that part of the attraction?

Simon's views are simple - don't get too carried away when we lose and likewise don't get too carried away when we win...... He is also a great guy and certainly someone you would want in the trenches with you!!!

agree 100% seanclevedongas, met Si last season ,but we all reach a breaking point in life with the club and or life itself, some hit it last season ,some before the season started, for some that day is years in the future, when you reach it things that shouldn't feel personal do, looks like Si hit that spot, I only hope that si will sit on the throne with a mag and a pint have a good tug, and come back refreshed
