Probably past his sale by date like the other crisps at the Mem. Oy! Say what you like about the owners, the manager and the players - but the crisps at The Mem are excellent.

It's not all about the fees. Players coming down from the championship will want a higher wage than we can pay. It has been a problem in the past. Hope you get promoted and BB does well for you. If we don't replace him we are screwed (as our recent record shows when he was injured). Thank you hopefully we do. Good luck for the rest of the season. I’m sure you will replace him as there are a lot of players good enough for league one. You should try and sign someone like Christian Doidge or Billy Kee. Both would score goals at this level, then get some young and hungry prem loanees. Doidge is an ex-Rovers youth player. Bit late to sign him now maybe - should have done it when cheap. Kee has been on radar (not surprisingly), but again surely the time was several years ago when his contract was finishing and he rather surprisingly signed a new contract at Stanley when Windass and Crooks signed pre-contracts with Rangers!

We tried to sign Doidge a few years back, but he chose to join Dagenham instead of us.

Posters seem to want us signing established League one players or players that are well known. Understand that and I’m probably in a minority but I would rather see us looking at younger quality players who are looking to develop and get an opportunity. Players from non league, league 2 or even younger players who have been crowded out of PL teams. I guess in the end the opinion that matters is DCs. Whatever, it will be a month that keeps us entertained!! UTG!

I want us to sign good players and personally couldn't care less if they came from Manchester United, Mangotsfield United or the Dog & Duck United.

True but how old, the stage they are at, their experience will determine how much they will cost us and will decide how realistic the likelihood of signing them is for a team like Rovers. Established league 1 players who are likely to get 15-20 goals a season will be very expensive and at this point in time are unlikely to be in our price bracket. I guess my point would be I agree with you about it not mattering where they come from but where they come from will determine if we can afford them! UTG!

Probably past his sale by date like the other crisps at the Mem. Got a bit of a cheesy whiff about him. Walker did alright for us, Smith too, and let's not forget that the Kettle has been one of our prize assets over the past few years!

Seriously now, there is talk that his rumoured loan move to Oldham has stalled and he is set to sign for another League One club. With his high energy style of play and quality left foot, I would welcome him here. He would surely improve us and his record at this level previously is decent.

Did well previously at this level and I reckon he'll do well again. I would've had him here. Fair play to Oldham, that's Patrick McEleney, Kundai Benyu and now Pringle, all decent signings.
