Is that allowed outside the transfer window if he wants to sign for someone else? Good question. I wonder if the powers that be would let that happen? I find it totally confusing these days with all this loan stuff. Would a league club really be interested in taking a non league and let's face it not match fit striker on loan. From what we've seen with other players it takes a while to get match fit. Yesterday there was a thread about Keanu Marsh-Brown, which was also confusing if you read the link. FGR wanted him, and Barnet were OK with it. He wasn't. League clubs wanted him, allegedly, but supposedly Barnet didn't like that. Then there was the he was injured/oh, no I wasn't bit. ggmi, I don't follow the other teams that closely, but didn't Grimsby score thirteen in two games the other week? Do they need a striker? Yes they do need strikers empire. They are after at least 1 if not 2.

I think a loan spell for this chap will do him good, a win win situation for us aswell.

I feel for Brunty; he was so good before his injury, now from what I saw of him at both Altrincham and Braintree he is way off the mark, it is embarassing; maybe a loan spell else where for a while would sort him out. UTG

This might just be agent talk; but I would be happy for an injury prone, out of sorts striker not in the team to go to a non-rival freeing up some cash ... could be good business for all involved especially if Lucas can be recalled if we become desperate.
