I don’t think he can tell us anything we don’t already know. Given the speed of Billy’s transfer DC knew it was going to happen. All he can say is we move on etc. etc. DC has aired his frustrations publicly and will presumably do so again if he feels the need but that -presumably- isn’t the case at the moment. We’ll hear from him when there is either a match to play or news about a player and not before I imagine.

... And how high our expectations of daily or more often updates have become when in reality there is no news so nothing to worry about. I blame forums / social media 😜 Yeah I suppose so, but I still reckon that if we had any trust or an idea about the direction the club is going in no one would be worried. As it is, even the most fervent blue tinter are worried about what will happen in this window. This is my take on it. I notice that some people offer their own view on things, they do this by stating "we" or "us" or "our" as in the comments above. I too was initially enthused by the early fervour of mega rich owners. Reality check was from the owner's first statement Evolution not Revolution. Regarding trusting the owners I have seen nothing to date that suggest I should distrust them. As stated they certainly haven't started the Revolution but the Evolution is developing but at a pace it seems some, maybe even most, thought likely. Idea of the direction. If certain individuals have no idea about the direction the club is going they hold that perceived view in "my" opinion because they still linger in that initial fervour of Revolution. I assume the rumours are true that Higgs was in discussions with UWE for 2 years without that becoming public knowledge. It then took 2 to 3 years going through planning design etc. These things take time as a certain Wael repeatedly try's to explain to doubters. Wael has also set up an academy, increased the backroom staff, bought land for a training ground and last week engaged a consultant to design and construct it. He has also stated his plans are to redevelop the Mem. All this is to make the club sustainable to move forward the club's first team ambition to play at a higher level. Seems a good idea and an ideal way to progress in a sound financial way to me. I have a fair idea therefore trhe direction the club is going. If doubters are saying they have no idea what colour the new seating will be I have a suggestion "we" could all sigh a petition to get our favourite colour. UTG

I've not lost faith in our owners yet and believe in the 'evolution' strategy so am happy to be patient and just keep on supporting the gas!

I thought this. Rather alarming. Alarming? That's a bit strong imo. Can't say I'm even bothered that DC hasn't given an interview.
