Just finished bleaching my eyes after having a sneaky peak on OTIB and noticed that conman Michael McIndoe has started a thread over there as a cover for shameless promoting of his book.
He was engaging with the dribbling sister shaggers about former teammates and managers as well as the current misfits.
Just got me wondering, if you could get an ex gas player (or manager?) on GasChat for an intimate Q&A sesh, who would it be and why??
I think for me it would be John Joe The Toole, for obvious reasons.

His attitude in the media did suck, but it was honest, the rest of the players around him were sh**e all year.

Never meet your heroes.
Unless it's Tom Lockyer who is really nice lad and is always engaging and interesting to talk to.

I'd like to hear an interview with John Ward.
About why it went so right when he came back and so wrong the season we went down.

Ian Holloway for me, would be honest and insightful.
"What really happened that season?"
That season seemed to change Rovers and is what we are in the process of bouncing back from.

I thought he'd already talked about that. I'm sure I'd read that he'd offered the players better contracts/bonuses if we went up and the club refused to to sanction them so the players downed tools. Or did I just imagine all that??

Not possible now but it would have to be Geoff Dunford, being a fan and owner how would you control yourself and your money on a team you love when you want them to succeed so much Easier being a fan but being in control must be so much harder,I would end up in a cardboard box trying to make our club succeed

Or did I just imagine all that?? In his autobiography. From memory Jason Roberts had his head turned after meeting other players on international duty and that started a fallout between them. Ollie wanted some room for improvements but didn't get all he needed.

We stayed up with far worse teams than that which went down without O'Toole. His attitude was a complete disgrace and was clearly a bad egg in the camp. Only a few months back I watched an interview with him in March that season and his attitude and lack of commitment stood out like a sore thumb. Worlds away from the mentality and culture DC has installed.

Given his past Twitter efforts I think we would get the most out of Adam Virgo.
