We're a mid-table L1 side, have a word with yourself - your settling. Have a word with myself ? The majority of our squad were signed by D.C. and we’ve improved every season whilst signing those players and I’m very happy with that and want it to continue so maybe you should sit down and have a quiet word with yourself. Well we have hit our zenith then haven't we.

Well we have hit our zenith then haven't we. Until either our attendances improve , we create more non attendance income or Hani gifts us money then we are probably around that yes . But over time there’s a good chance that at least one of those things will happen and we can push on and perhaps become a championship club who knows maybe even Premier. I want us to keep progressing as much as the next Gashead but I’m realistic about it too. I think we’ll finish around the same as last season maybe slightly higher and that will be progress. I’m not in the “ thought we were going to be world beaters and now really angry “ camp like I know a lot of our supporters are. Why ? Because when Wael bought the club and gave us his plan on what they were going to do and how they aimed to achieve it I took it on board. I’ve read a lot of posts on here this season saying things like “ they’ve taken us for mugs” they’re taking the water they should just sell up “ I think those people didn’t listen to a word Wael said nearly two years ago and got a bit carried away.

You do sound like Rank Video, Blockbusters and Woolworths. Elon Musk would put you in a home for the old and mentality unstable.

Whilst I agree that many should have actually listened to Wael, I'm very disappointed with how we are treated. The way the whole UWE thing was handled was very disrespectful to us fans imo. I believe it was the handling of the situation that has turned fans against them.

What nonsense I'm pretty sure NH announced to the world the UWE will be built w/o Sainsbury's money and Wael followed that up by saying he realised a new stadium was a necessity, nearly two years later no obvious progress has been made, we're £12m+ in debt and after selling our best player we get in just a non league player who can't even make the first team. Evolution has sadly died.

He played down thr billionaire comments and said evolution not revolution but I think he was careful not to explain the reality of the situation from the start- that he was effectively the figurehead and not the one in charge of the finance. If we knew then what we know now I think there would have been much less feel good factor and some tough questions about why they bought Rovers, what they are looking to achieve and how they propose to achieve it.
