On the contrary, good move for all concerned. Shows that an experienced defender must be joining, and gives Rollin first team football. Yeah, great way to develop our player. Also feels good that Swindle are getting our reserves.

Not sure why people are against this... the chance to play league football is much better than reserve football here. When Craig arrives and James Clarke is fit we have more than enough cover at the back. Hope he does well there! We have shipped goals for fun this season mainly thanks to our first choice CBs struggling. We let Burn go because he wasnt good enough so were already a CB short and I would have thought that with Broadbent and Rollin's lack of experience we needed a tidy, experienced CB to come in regardless just in case our two main CBs start having nightmares again...so we let one of those two inexperienced lads go! 2 CBs gone since the start of the season and possibly a full back to come in. Worried.

Good luck to Menayese, I hope this loan turns out to be good for him and he gets more professional game time under his belt. He wasn't realistically going to feature much with Lockyer, Sweeney, Broadbent and possibly Craig coming in so I think it's probably best for him and us that he gains experience out on loan.

Disregarding any other potential scenario . This is a very good loan move for RM . Lets hope he gets some game time but in the least he will be on the bench every game and involved in the matchday experience.
I assume that JC must be very near to being ready for squad selection if needed.
As it is the club have 3 centrebacks plus Partington can play there plus JC. A new signing would leave Rovers more than covered for the remainder of the season.

Even though TC has apparently agreed personal terms now according to BP. Not excited at all by this signing but needed now.

Maybe DC is trying to balance the budget by letting players go on loan so it frees up a bit more to bring players in (what we save on him may mean DC can offer a bit more to incoming player to get deal over the line)

ITV Local News have said he has now signed for Rovers so this probably explains Rollins move - makes sense to me as a win win situation for him to get that regular competetive experience before next season

But how do ITV know before it's announced on the OS, even Jack Vittle hasn't said he's actually signed. Assuming he does sign it makes sense to send Rollin to Swindon as he gets 1st team squad action plus they'll contribute towards his wages. Otherwise he's only going to play the odd DS game.
