Part of me will only truely be behind him when he gets us back to league football which he was partly responsible for losing us but hey, four wins on the trott, 6k crowds and all this after he was one match away from losing his job !! Deseves a lot of credit for this turn around and whether fans are ggmi DC loyalists or Tbone Gas sceptics they will all be delighted to see our march up the table continue If it all works out as I expect then you may not have to wait too long.

With all due respect Rich, if you were a Newcastle fan you would probably be raving about them going to win the league under Pardew. Rich, a bloke who will see the positive in every negative.

Very pleased to be someone that sees a positive in every negative. I couldn't be happier to be described like that. My enthusiasm and energy has increased ten fold based on that description. To be honest, I find it hard to be pessimistic about life's events. There's nearly always something better round the corner. Having said that I can't see much future happiness for Newcastle around any corners. Clearly Pardew has to go.
We are now on a run that could easily see us at the top of table come end of November or possibly sooner. The bus (or any firm of transport) will be packed. We deserve some happiness and the team are showing confidence, commitment and character that makes many believe that we might well be sitting pretty at top of table very soon. 2-0 today has settled the fears of the doubters and given us all something to be positive about. Focus on the positive and believe we can do better. Exciting times!

I was not a Fan of DC especially after losing our League status and dropping players who were winning the odd match for him, then releasing good players like Gillespie and Muhamed to sign non league ' mates' and then continuing to lose to part time sh..e, I was not feeling any love to the guy but I did say that he needs 20 to 25 games to put his own Team out and his own Stamp on that team ( Our Team ) . The Team we have supported for years and years. The team that have made our weekends and ruined our weekends. The team that you love to love and can hate to hate. The only team in Bristol that has genuine support. The Team that you have memories of greatness and monumental achievements. The Nomadic team of Black Arabs that deserves higher greatness but keeps on making life ' interesting '. This Man DC could be the one to turn this club around with his youthful passion and desire and I have to say his ability to learn very quickly how to ' play the game ' . Not since Paul Trollopes early managerial days have I felt great about our way of playing. I would still love to see 4-3-1-2 with Ellis given that role behind Cunnington and Taylor. But the Man DC is getting the results. Long may it continue

Have a lot of faith in the guy.
Slow start but going brilliantly now.
Keep it up, Gas.

Good job we didn't get rid of him after the first three games or after Braintree as proposed on a number of threads across the forums! Otherwise we'd now be in a season long 'gelling period' with a new manager rather than picking up 12 points from four games... I jest because of course there is a long, long way still to go and we could lose the next four games for all I know. Credit to DC though for picking the players up after Braintree and getting the club moving again.
The spirit and the togetherness looks to be coming back, so well done DC, well done the players and well done the fans. Feels good to be winning again doesn't it!

At last I am starting to enjoy my football again.
And for me it's not just the results it's the way the team are playing. The matches are enjoyable and the they actually play for each other. For the first time in a number of years there is a team spirit and the team, club, supporters and board (maybe?) seem to be pulling in the same direction.
And yes DC has to take the credit for a lot of that. If we had him as manager two or three seasons would we have been relegated? I think the team we have now would wipe the floor with last seasons.
