I can imagine that people are also vocal behind him at games about subs and tactics. If i could speak to DC i would say ignore us fans, we are just passionate and want to see us win every week - which is not realitic. Most of the fans base are well behind him with our support, i wouldn't take a few beered up Gasheads comments to hearts. As you were DC. It is the Board that worries me. Well I stand right behind the dugout, and I can't remember the last time I heard any real criticism of DC. I only ever see it on here. Really ~ I stood near there at the Portsmouth game and there were several 'experts' screaming their advice at him

I wonder if perhaps the situation at Bournemouth with their manager who left for pastures new but then returned to lead his team to the Premiership, ever crosses Darrells mind.

I think anyone who chooses to stand behind the dugout to loudly voice their opinions at the management is probably a insufferable bell-end who (and I’m speculating here) likes the smell of their own farts. Such disruptive arrogance would drive me round the twist, there’s no way I could put up with that all game. It’s bad enough in the dribuild. They ought to fit the area with a trap door.

Where i stand behind the goal in the thatchers/blackthorn end several fans are heavily critical of dc and especially tactically. With the shrewsbury game they shaking their heads in dismay at our lack of width etc etc, this a regular thing.

I like the fact that people are literally focusing on the 30 people in the stadium who criticize DC during a game, yet are ignoring the 6,000 people who sing "Darrell Clarke's Barmy Army" multiple times every Saturday over and over

Until he wakes up and realises the chances of us ever playing in the Premiership are, sadly, as remote as they've ever been.

www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/hurst-on-darrell-clarke-criticism-1163595To be fair, Paul Hurst is absolutely correct. DC is one of the best managers in this division and we are lucky to have him. There are a few negative few about but I think for the most part, everyone backs DC. However par for the course of a football manager is to be questioned on tactics, formations and substitutions from know all fans, most of the time they should be ignored. There are exceptions, like Buckle and McGhee. I just wish DC was given a little bit more money to work his magic. A few negative few eh? Not many then!

The 6000 contribute to the atmosphere/ enjoyment and don't irritate anyone.
The other 30 moan from the minute the team is announced, shouting DC and the players down throughout the game, offering their 'perfect solutions' to the manager, and irritating pretty much everyone around them.
The worst thing is if you say anything to them, you just get a barrage of abuse back and (if you're lucky) the offer of a fight.

Funny you should say that on the day that marks the beginning of female emancipation in 1918. And start of votes for all.

Quite the opposite my good friend, i come from a family of Labour activists and union lovers and love what the Labour party used to be about, sadly they have moved away from their core principles and adopted their Stalinist culture As regards Female emancipation, i would like nothing more than Woman to take over the world and run it, but the problem with that is they will have nobody to blame when it all go's wrong
