So i wonder what great announcements we are getting today, must be to do with the Stadium Do you mean this one? Final decision over new J18a Bristol M4 junction to be made later The final decision over the location of a controversial new M4 junction will be made later. There are two main options for South Gloucestershire councillors to chose from for junction 18a. One is via Lyde Green and the other near the village of Pucklechurch. The cabinet has been recommended to approve the Lyde Green option.

You know what I have heard that actually, in fact I just got a text from my mate called Wael who said to keep an eye on the website tonight. No idea what it could be about

Interesting on the write up about Wael at the end it states "establish either a new stadium " and "or redevelop their existing home"
so several possibilities are still up for grabs. Lyde green area near the new motorway link either the yate side or Bristol side of the M4

Siston says NO!
Pucklechurch says NO!
There is lots of green belt land to consider for horses.
People in Siston have massive houses, Range Rovers and stables you know??!!! The last thing that they want is an M4 Junction AND (god forbid) a football stadium!!!!

I am sure that the jodhpur wearing champagne quaffing polo playing antique loving equine worshipping fox hunters would love to live next door to Bristol Rovers with our track record of horse treatment! 😂😂😂
