His dad and brother "f-ing love" Rovers. Wael thinks the future is so bright we will have to wear shades. Steve Hamer sits in a big chair with a white cat. No one knows what Steve Brookfield does. But I was told that if you have to ask, you don't want to know. Steve Brookfield is the financial director. Brought in by the board some time ago now. Used to work for Coventry. Yeah, that's the cover story. *Wink*

I think we’ve already enterd an age of greatness well by our clubs standards anyway. These last four seasons have been great times to support our club and I’m having a great time so that’s greatness for me personally. Not sure I'll be thinking "isn't this great" when I'm sat there freezing my testicles off tomorrow night. You telling us that you still have a pair

I suppose someone has to pour cold water - and you are good at that. However, you obviously have not met Wael's parents and brother (Wael's dad is President of Bristol Rovers President's Club) and listened to their views? Neither have you personally discussed with Wael how he sees the future. Have you considered why DC is still here and working his magic? Why an up and coming Finance Director has been attracted to the Club? What Steve Hamer and Steve Brookfield are actually doing? Why are the Development Squad under Chris Hargreaves progressing? What is happening with the Academy? Yes - all of these buy into the vision of our owners As for our owners understanding of football - Wael has a background which you should study with care - and then you might understand why he uses evolution as a driver you might be educated. You've asked a lot of interesting questions there, with a strong hint of knowing the answers to them all. When others come on here and suggest that things are not going well behind the scenes, they are rightly criticised for doing so if they have no evidence. You have suggested that everything is indeed going well. Can you provide any proof of this, so that I and many others can stop worrying? I'm not saying you're wrong, and I'm not saying you're right, but if you pull people up on negative comments without evidence, then you have to be able to refute those with your own facts. Otherwise your posts are no more or less valid than the negative ones. here here I wait with anticipation with knowitalls reply

Steve Hamer sits in a big chair with a white cat. I do like the idea of this. Although I'd thought of it more as Hani sitting stroking the cat. Hamer is nearby in a leather bound chair that can tip back and drop him through a hatch to oblivion at the pull of a small lever located on the armrest of Hani's chair... Too much detail? Thought so.

I've been dreaming for 50 years about the Rovers, i'm sure we have a better chance now for that to become true with the current ownership I've been dreaming about Dolly Parton for 50 years and that will never happen You might have to settle for Jolene.

That explains why Hamer's trousers always seem to be covered in white hairs. Thanks for clearing that up; I'd often wondered.

Yet another small step on the road to more greatness last night Well done BRFC on both the on and off pitch activities last night Spot on Henbury - evolution for all to see last night - football improved by the minute and the pasty was excellent. Pay on the day available. No queue at the turnstile. Couple of pints in the Royal Oak....we need to build a pub on each corner of the ground! 😀

Yet another small step on the road to more greatness last night Well done BRFC on both the on and off pitch activities last night What improvements were they off the pitch last night? They had hot water in the South Stand pasty hut at half time. I suspect more improvements for fans in the summer in and around the ground. Whatever happens with the stadium we will be here at least 2 if not 3 more years so may as well try to make the best of what space we have.
