Pardon my financial incompetence and inexperience here but wouldn't that be a positive? Correct should have put it the other way Good. Thought I was going nuts!

Depends what Stuart means and how he meant to phrase his answer. I thought (according to some) although maybe wrong that 1883ltd had to purchase/pay for the Colony land, although this would have come from the credit facility. Anyway. I await the meltdown when assets exceed liabilities and Dwane sports have ACCRUED another lot of interest That is pretty much what I was getting at. Although the land may be under Dwane Colony, do we know for sure DS paid for it directly or that its acquisition and perhaps even development costs won't find its way onto the accounts of BRFC 1883 either through the direct access of the credit facility or through some form of movement between two subsidiaries of DS. Do we know for sure whether DC is a separate company or another subsidiary of DS? If we do then great, as SH's comment of '£12m investment' won't actually mean £12m debt on BRFC's accounts as the training ground is kept separate. Pretty sure there were' two companies registered in Jersey, Dwane Sports & Dwane Sports Colony but there only seems to be the former now, so not sure who owns The Colony anymore but when the land was bought it was suggested DS purchased it, not Rovers/BRFC1883. Perhaps the ownership issue will be clarified at the AGM?

Whatever way you look at it Dwayne Sports will own it even if it's in 1883 Ltd accounts

I can't wait to see the feedback on here, it's going to be a complete meltdown for some (Wael's lost interest, no money to invest, stadium redevelopment = were getting more tents and will take a decade to complete, colony going nowhere blah blah blah), for some it may be over excitement (next year we're going up, top 6 budgets, landing lights are coming back on etc etc).
I'll say right now that it will be more of the same, evolution not revolution, hopefully announcement of various improvements planned over the coming year and there's nothing wrong with that as far as I'm concerned. My expectations are already firmly in the right place, I'm a very happy gas head who is ready to renew his ST right now.
UTG!

Great news about Harrison! Now hopefully we can get the contract extended but if we do lose him in the summer at least we should get a proper fee.

I have nothing to compare it against so I could be wrong but £300k on the development squad seems good value in today’s money crazy world. Won’t be much more than the costs of an office in London will cost! UTG!

TBH I wasn't encouraged by tonight. I thought only DC stood out as ambitious which begs the question 'how long will he wait for big things to happen? I thought there was much vagueness about the board and without any tangible evidence it comes down to trust they are investing for the long term. The stand out phrase for me was by SH 'We may develop the Mem or elsewhere'so we don't even know where our playing future lies.In Feb 2016 we bought a Porsche, we still have that Porsche but the brakes are firmly on and we have no idea what direction we will be travelling.

Did you expect them to say anything different. Wael said not long ago we can't really about it as we are still having discussions. Expect we are looking into new sites and redeveloping the mem. If they put all thier eggs in one basket, fans would be moaning then!

Hopefully Ellis keeps on scoring and we sell him in the summer. He's likely to leave us in January for too little otherwise. We must have offered him an extension already I would imagine.

I honestly can't believe almost the entire football season has passed since we walked away from uwe deal and the club still has no idea what it's plans are. That line gives me little confidence. I would love to know what Wael is going to talk about at this summit next week.
