Does anyone else think £26 a ticket for an adult is a bit much? Depends who the adult is. I`d pay £26 for Halle Berry.

Does anyone else think £26 a ticket for an adult is a bit much? Its probably why Rovers have a smaller budget than them. Yet we average twice as much

I asked this onefootballforum - its steep but apparently they don't have terracing for away fans anymore
A quick google shows its now seated along the side of the pitch
Still pricy though

Do you have to disagree with everyone about everything ? It is a bit pedantic from BB. We get roughly 9,000. They get roughly 5,000. What would he be happy with? Our attendances are 4/9 bigger than Peterborough?

Our is 8,817 theirs 5,693 Probably should have let it go but people are always stating facts on forums which are not facts. were 8th in league one attendances but with a small number of seats.

Think the word you missed was 'roughly' True but why not round Rovers down and Posh up instead of the otherway around ? Rovers 8000 Posh 6000
so Rovers crowds are 1/4 bigger but all of that is terrace . Their higher prices would therefore probably mean a bigger income.

I didn't realise that Posh were averaging over 5500. I presumed less. Clearly if we're averaging to the nearest 1000 then they are 6000 and we are 9000. So we have a third bigger crowds than them.

If you used the 6 and 9000 figures and then used the prices of £16 and £26 respectively then BRFC totes 144,000 and PUFC totes 156,000 per game. So whilst the crowds are smaller the cash isn't. Walsall charge adults £23. Burton Albion £20 adults £18 senior citizens to stand.
Not directed at yourself but Rovers fans really have to get this we have bigger crowds so we should be wealthier thing out of their heads. Rovers fans pay very reasonable prices and the club could charge a lot more. General sale at City starts from £26 upto £36 I believe.
The prices will have to go up without doubt for Rovers to compete and fans should accept it has to happen if they want the club to stay at this level or advance.

Hmmm ... intersting stats but can we achieve the same results by, instead of putting prices up, just having a good old moan about the owners?

I see Steve Evans is at the Peterborough game tonight. I know he lives locally to them, but surely nailed on to get the job now.
