Can you get to St George? There is a coach running from the Pied Horse. Thanks Rex At this moment in time I cannot get out of the street (1 way in and 1 way out) it is also snowing heavily again so think I will have to wait until the morning. What time is the coach due to leave? Hoping to get away at 9. I have no chance whatsoever of getting my car out from the lane I live in, so I will be hiking it from Hanham (Clevedon might be a tad more difficult walking)

Does anyone know about how tickets could be be refunded if the game is on (but unable to get out of Bristol) due to the storm, with the stadium being closed today? No refunds as all income needed to offset losses on last financial year. As Mr Wael is a very very nice man I'm sure you'll understand and won't mind losing your money to this great cause lol The games at MK Dons!

I think they must be completely blind to reality letting this game go ahead, not to mention casual about the safety of traveling fans, players and staff. Forecasts I've seen for tomorrow either show conditions here being much the same as today with a thaw starting to set in on Sunday, or a thaw that won't get under way until at least tomorrow lunchtime. Either way, temperatures aren't supposed to get much above freezing, with a wind chill factor that will make them a whole lot harsher. There's still going to be snow and ice everywhere in the morning, and what's managed to thaw will only freeze over again the minute it starts to get dark. Even if the traveling Gas manage to escape accidents, there are still going to be enough other people having them to bring traffic to a standstill in places. Those who manage to make it there are probably going to be looking at horrendous journeys on the way home. Burdening the fans with deciding whether to risk throwing themselves into the fray or just to throw their money away also shows a distinct lack of respect for the emergency services, who are having a hard enough time with all this already. Admittedly, I was never going to go anyway and quite like the idea of snuggling up listening to the match on the radio while snow blankets the world outside. Not at any price, though. Stay safe, those who are going, and keep those three points warm on the way home UTG

Club has issued a match guide, here is what they said about the snow:
"Please be aware that although The Club has a full gritting programme in place for the car parks and outer-walkways as well as the aisles and concourse inside Stadium MK, It goes without saying that supporters attending the game on Saturday are advised to wear appropriate footwear and clothing."

So, if there is even the slightest concern over spectator safety then call the game off. It will get colder when the sun goes in and it could be chaos after the game. I seem to recall a few years back feeling quite disappointed that we called a game off when the pitch was perfectly playable but the roads around the ground were dangerous. Guess Rovers had their sensible head on that day, and maybe MK Dons don't own one.

Trust us to have one of the only grounds in the division that will possibly go ahead. Think only three games in League 1 left now still on- ridiculous lack of respect for away supporters in view of the weather warnings given.FA should have made the decision for all clubs.

Don't live anywhere near MK Dons and was not going to this one anyway but this is total madness imo. Total disregard for safety. Do wonder how many other matches will be going ahead in the EFL tomorrow.
Stay safe gas heads!

If just one person from either set of supporters gets hurt traveling (god forbid) then the bloody FA should be held accountable. It’s just not worth the risk, at the end of the day it’s just a game of football that can be played another time.

Eight games still going ahead in the Championship. Three games still going ahead in League One. Three games still going ahead in League Two.
Only 14 professional games in England going ahead outside the EPL and of course we're one of them.

I'm amazed this game is going ahead.I've decided not to risk driving 10 miles to the Mem for coach. It will be a hazardous journey, no where to park at Mem and if the coach does arrive in time for match what will weather be like when arriving back at Mem at 8pm ( if the journey home is trouble free). I have already got coach and match ticket, but hey ho, life is more precious than a football match. PS hope coach is not delayed by me not turning up. Can't even call anyone to say I won't be there. Rediculous

Rediculous I doubt you will be the only one. I am fully expecting a fair few of our coach to drop out and I probably would myself if I wasn't one of the organizers. Terrible decision to let this game go ahead.

Looks like my mate can't get a refund on our tickets. Despicable given the weather conditions and the distance.

Everything wrong with this. All advice is not to travel - especially along the M4 and looks like MK won't refund our tickets. Surely this is something the FA could sort out. Takes the p*ss out of fans yet again.
