I am amased anybody has any energy left to go through this again. Stadium with a "wow factor", whatever next ?; I am resigned, to a patched up MEM, sometime in the future, I really like Waq, but I do not think he understands a lot of us would like to be simply be playing in the same division as the ****, but to be honest, I cannot ever see that happening again. Talking about new stadiums is a waste of time. Yep a wow factor . Bristols football is not so territorial these days ,with new people and more mobility . BRFC is in competition with other business' including Bristol Sports football division (BCFC 1982 unpaid bills Ltd) and the Rugby club.
A tarted up mem with no development will see the club back in the conference within ten years.

Walking around Bristol today it’s amazing how much major construction is going up in Bristol. Massive builds everywhere. If we’re going to build a new stadium somewhere other than our existing site we need to crack on and find somewhere because Bristol is running out of room.

It did once and we both got relegated lol! But you’re right it will never happen, thank f**k! Always believe we'll have a decent, new, top notch Stadium soon. I know we've heard it all before but there's something about the AQ's that really make me think, yep, it'll happen. More likely to make it happen than any other board we’ve ever had in my opinion.

So is our training ground and that looks like taking 3 to 4 years from identifying the land to the opening day, if we're lucky and that's basically 4 pitches and a clubhouse. My rough timetable would be another year to find a suitable site, another year to purchase it/draw up plans, 2 to 3 to get full pp, another year to plan the build/sort out finance, two years building it, and that assumes everything goes to plan! Does it look like taking 3 - 4 years? Also a year to purchase land? What? 2 - 3 years to get pp? Your guesstimates are just made up and they also don't take account of things happening concurrently. Pretty sure we bought the land in Dec 2016/Jan 2017, I doubt the ALQ's just turned up in Dec and bought a plot of land so probably spent 6 to 12 months finding suitable land, it's now virtually April 2018 so that's around two years taken to date, we're told we hope to use the facilities by pre-season 2019 so that's another year to 18 months away, so that's a minimum of 3 years/maximum of 4 years assuming everything goes to plan and the way things of gone so far that's pretty unlikely. As far as the stadium of course my time frames are made up hence why I said my "rough timetable", getting pp depends where we decide to build, another UWE type plot in S Glos and it should be a doddle, try and do anything at the Mem on anywhere else in Bristol and it'll probably be another planning nightmare.

I’d say knock down the mem, play at Twerton for a season so I can walk down and do that up a little 😜 and rebuild a 20k all seater at the mem. I’d also then get them to put on coaches from various points to save traffic (from Twerton park maybe lol!) and also make some profit on the journeys. (Maybe even buy the coaches and hire them out as well as use them for all club trips) memorial coach travel for example. Lol!

No in your initial post you said 1 year to find the plot and 1 year to purchase it. You now say both those things might take 6 months total. If you're just inventing timescales at least try to be consistent.
