Having read the UWE off threads on both forums, I can only ask:
Have CJ and EW broken boardroom confidentiality rules by disclosing a possible plan b as the suggestion is the directors told the BRISA meeting at the Welly that the UWE was dead in the water.
If you look at Dinsdales message on the other forum, he states categorically that 'the clubs blatantly looking at who else they can flog the Mem to and sites for cheaper stadiums elsewhere.Isnt that right? Maybe Marks meeting minutes will fill us in'.
As far as I know the only plan b we have is to rebuild the Mem. If we are in fact looking to find another site, that means the intention is to sell the Mem anyway, presumably for housing, and the value for that is £8-10m. Can someone please tell me where we can find a site anywhere in Bristol, and more importantly at the cost indicated above? Any extra terrestrial sites don't count, as they would be difficult to reach for midweek matches.
I therefore go back to a previous thread. Why did the club wish two directors to attend a meeting that was supposed to be low key, and obviously hoping it would not become public knowledge, and at that meeting divulge confidential information to a group that basically represent three men and a dog, and not offer the same insight to the Official Supporters Club, that represent over two thousand fans?
Basically, Mark and Co who were at the meeting are now in possession of knowledge that has been disclosed to the directors acting under confidentiality rules, and as he said previously the questions and answers will be released in due course. Who the hell does he think he is, and who do the directors think they are, releasing this info in a pub for Christ sake.
This is symptomatic of the way this club has been run for years, and if people were looking to invest in it, I think I would steer a long path away from it.
Let's just hope that there is someone out there who can see the potential of this club and take it away from the comedians running the show at present.
If however, it's all bullshit, why doesn't Mark tell us, or are we not important enough in the greater scheme of things?
I wish i was a supporters club member now. It could be mighty interesting Thursday night.
I hope someone tells NH about this, coz after all his efforts it would be shameful if two other directors mess this up now.
