Don’t see how it is difficult to judge?

The frustrating thing is Lines was nothing to do with the incident that preceded his bookings. He also starts moving away and then looks like he deliberately walks back within earshot of the ref for one last dig, knowing full well he was on a last warning. Not good enough from an experienced pro, just walk away so the ref has no reason to make a decision.
Hard to comment too much on the goals even though they were poor defensively. 10 men, a makeshift RB and still pushing to win the game was always going to be tough.
The biggest worry now is the ever growing injury list!

Seems Lines got 2 yellow cards both for dissent and DC said he will not stand for it. Lines behaviour probably cost us the match and the slim chance of a play off spot. He will also affect our next game due to suspension and at a time when the injuries have badly depleted us. Thank Christ we were not fighting for survival today. Lines knew what was at stake and he knew full well about the injury crisis but he could not resist mouthing at the referee. Thoroughly disappointed with Chris Lines. Will DC ditch him?

Difficult to judge the red card based on that. If Linsey has said something as he walks away then he only has himself to blame. After the initial talking to he went back towards the ref again which suggests he did. Very silly. Did he go back and say something or just walk towards Brown taking the throw, it's impossible to know and Lines does act surprised when given the second yellow, just a pity Locks didn't do a proper captain's job and make sure Lines was kept away from the ref! Regardless stupid way to end our season after 40 games of effort.

He did the right thing and guide him off the pitch after the sending off.

If he hadn't said anything untoward, I'm sure DC and Ollie Clarke would have defended him to some extent in the post match interviews.

I think the managers post match interview dealt with the lines sending off in a sensible way and said it would be dealt with internally which is fair enough imo.

Great finish and no chance for slocombe on their opening goal and an inexplicable mistake from tom on their 2nd goal which wrong footed the rest of the defence. The only excuse on the 2nd goal would be that we were chasing the game and tired after being a man light for 30 mins approx.

Disallowed a perfectly good goal as well from memory? Perhaps that's what Lines said as he walked away "you f'ing cheat" as clearly something wound him up! Anyway Pompey beating Wigan and Charlton winning probably puts paid to any remote chance we had of making the play offs He also failed to send Puddy off in the play off final at Wembley. Correctly.

Akinfenwa got sent off for a similar two yellows against us. I thought his was harsh, and he was really waving his arms around. I was glad though.
