I stand to be corrected, but weren't the club going to move the family enclosure to the South Stand? I don't think they are planning on erecting any more tents, I don't think there's room to pitch any more. Oh, and before Bolders gets all excited, I stand to be corrected isn't an invitation to administer some weird punishment ritual! The south west tent would probably be the most logical, but i bet some selfish buggers have already bought season tickets for there haven't they?

Roof and seats to be incorporated at the back of the East terrace. On the tarmac section between the terrace and the pasty hut. This will still allow spectators at the top of the Centenary to see the corner flag and touchline. Should be a nice mix of terracing and seating.

Just where I was thinking a stand (tent !) could be put. Is this for real ?

Why, because i don't have lots of pretty pink stars like you? The Centenary stand is the East stand or Poplar stand. On the East side of the ground.

The official name this season was the Poplar Stand but also referred to as the centenary stand, grandstand, big stand etc

I've always thought it would be a good idea to put a bank of seats above the away terrace. That way, the number of visiting fans who wanted a seat could be accommodated, and the Tent end could be exclusively for home fans, without that void area, and the club wouldn't need so many match day stewards, meaning nore money for the club.

Tallies with the club shop moving over the summer. The only other way to find extra space for a family stand is by extending the south stand. Then the young uns would be right by horrible supported of other clubs. Not ideal when teams like millwall turn up.

Think it was about 6,200 . I could be wrong ! Thanks mate. Pretty decent, let's hope we get even more for 18/19. So Pirate, you thank the geezer who gave you the wrong number.....but only 'like' the geezer who gave you the right number. Hmmm.

Ive just read the other posts and I now understand where you're coming from, i got my east & west mixed up and I thought you meant the gap between the west stand and the south west stand. Doh! Just for the record i dont care how many stars I have and I certainly dont treat people any differently whether they have 1 post or 10,000! It would be good if what you say happens though?

They are not moving the shop, just the entrance, i believe if it happens the shop will move into the Guiness Bar next door and vice versa. I think it’s got benefits for the licensing rules and being able to access the shop from the front and rear as there is a door that leads out onto the terrace.
