I can't see the site is much bigger than the Mem.
Are we sure we aren't including the Muller Road Rec in there, which certainly won't be part of the deal?

Club would have to buy houses at the narrow access point to the site.. So as to widen it. Could gain access via muller rd rec entrance but thats not owned by the civil service and is narrow to.

Buy the Filton avenue homes and you have scope to go massive with ample parking facilities
Of course, this could be done over a number of years ready for expansion when we’re hitting the big time 😉

Sad to see it go but it is an idyllic place to build a new stadium. Hope discussions will be had if the opportunity arises. As is the UWE. Might explain why there has been a resumption of talks between both parties?

Don't claim to be an ITK, but quite prepared to believe my source who told me at last Saturdays game. On that basis I would say it was a fact. Surprised others on here have not heard anything although someone on the last match thread where I posted it, said they had heard the same.

Might explain why there has been a resumption of talks between both parties? I'm sure the club have said at least twice that the UWE is over amd there is no chance of reconcilliation. Would love to be wrong, but I think a lot of fans are having trouble letting go.

Although why would a 75 year old want to now start spending his money this side of the pond, particularly on a lower league football club where it's going to take at least 5 years to make any real progress?

And I just thought ‘Arthur Blanc’ was Henbury’s rhyming slang for ‘Yank’ Or it may have been rhyming slang for something else........
