No Slovakian 3rd division players jkgas15, but quite a few from Spain, Italy, Holland and Germany I wouldn't mind. The following players would probably leave for me in an ideal world: Moore, Nichols, Bola, Leadbitter, J Clarke, Sweeney, Broom, Gaffney, Burn And target... Left Backs : Either Luke Leahy (Walsall) or Harry Toffolo (Millwall, free) would be my preference. Right Backs: Any of Matthias Bader (Karlsruher SC, free), Nils Winter (Alemannia Aachen, free), Ties Evers (Volendam, free) or Juanjo Nieto (Hercules CF, free) would be my preference. Centre Backs: Any of Ben Heneghan (Sheffield United), Dorian Dervite (Bolton, free), Cian Bolger (Fleetwood), Curtis Nelson (Oxford, free), Israel Puerto (CD Mirandes), Sebastian Neumann (Wurzburger Kickers, free), Matthew Steenvoorden (SC Cambuur, free) or Luka Bogdan (Catania) would be my preference. Defensive Central Midfielders: Any of Bryn Morris (Shrewsbury), Funso Ojo (Scunthorpe), Jay Spearing (Blackpool, free), Jamie Hanson (Derby, free), Alessandro Mastalli (Juve Stabia), Oscar Sielva (Bouzas, free), Joey Veerman (Volendam) or Robert Gucher (Pisa) would be my preference. Wingers: Any of Jordan Graham (Wolves, free), Harry Forrester (Rangers), David Wheeler (QPR), Matty Kennedy (Cardiff, free), David Henan (Everton, free), Rob Hall (Oxford, free), Fabio Viteritti (Energie Cottbus, free), Luigi Falcone (Catanzaro, free), Luigi Canotto (Juve Stabia), Lago Júnior (RCD Mallorca), Manuel Farrona Pulido (Fortuna Koln, free) would be my preference. Strikers: Any of Sergio Buenacasa (Barakaldo), Duckens Nazon (Wolves), Manuel Fischnaller (Alessandria), Patrick Schmidt (Saarbrucken, free), Marcel Platzek (Rot-Weiss Essen), Sam Hendriks (Go Ahead Eagles), Nuha Marong (Atletico Saguntino, free), Sory Kaba (Elche), Streli Mamba (Energie Cottbus, free), Alex Jones (Bradford), Mart Lieder (FC Eindhoven, free), Petar Sliskovic (Hallescher, free) or Macauley Chrisantus (Real Murcia, free) would be my preference Is Nelson fit? Didn't he suffer a bad knee injury? Always liked him and wished we had went for him instead of Peter Hartley at the time.

After watching arsenal this afternoon sign Nelson on loan Is that realistic? If he's on the fringe of Arsenals first team surely he will want to stay and try to impress their new manager. If he goes on loan I would expect it to be to a lower end prem team or championship

Who would you like to see go, and who would you personally replace them with (within reason - we're not going to replace nichols with mo salah) (and also assuming we're not scouting Slovakian 3rd division players, pirate 😂) Leads - Luke Burke - 20 - Wigan, out of contract end of season Moore - Lyle Taylor - realistic target, sure he's out of contract at the end of the season, is a goalscorer. CB - not sure what's happening with Craig, unsure whether he'll be a player or a coach next year - Mark Beevers - Bolton - likely to be shipping out a few players, think he's 28 and out of contract this season, very experienced player. Striker - Eisa - Cheltenham, would certainly have to put our hands in our pockets for him. My lost in based entirely on players in the EFL currently, and also realistic targets, Sammy Ameobi is a free agent in the summer, but he won't be coming here. There's probably positions we need to strengthen, but I don't think we're going to have a huge overhaul in the summer so I've stuck to a few key positions we need to do something about. And if you're reading rovers - we don't want anyone from Peterborough, we could turn jack marriot into a 5 goal a century striker if we bought him lol Some great suggestions, but all predicated on the basis these players will want to come to BRFC; unfortunately, DC will be fishing in a different pool of players as we do not have any money to pay top wages and our facilities, ground and training ground, are currently in and amongst the worst in the league. IMO our best chance for future success is by growing our own from within the Under 23 Development Team, get some players into the first team, and sell them on at a profit. That's always the issue, it was extremely concerning when we couldn't lure Otis Khan away from Yeovil. I think the only thing we've got going for us is that you'd probably rather live in Bristol than Scunthorpe. Our support is generally praised country wide, and that has to be noticed by players, we're doing our bit, we need the club to catch up off the pitch. Development players are great, don't get me wrong, but you can't rely solely on the kids, they need the head of experience to guide them and get the confidence going, and get them into the first team routine, Kelly, Russe, Baghdadi were all very impressive when they played, and let's hope the likes of Craig, Lines and Sercs continue to help them progress because they all looked very promising.

He's featured recently against Southend, Wigan and Doncaster and was on the bench on Saturday.

Am I in the minority thinking Leads is a great player on his day and more than capable L1 right back?

Am I in the minority thinking Leads is a great player on his day and more than capable L1 right back? I don't think he's a bad player at this level at all and I've said I wouldn't be unhappy if he stayed, I just personally think it's a position that could be improved upon. He has suffered a bit with injuries the past couple of seasons and his final ball isn't always the best. But like I said, wouldn't be unhappy if he stayed.

Can agree on that Pirate, I think I'm more in the camp of 'lets not have a complete squad overhaul this summer' - purely out of the love I have for this groups team spirit. I would keep Leads as a back-up right back, wing back and winger. If we have funds to do so then yes go out and sign a first teamer and improve the starting XI. Leads would be a brilliant option from the bench.

I agree with pirate we should be looking more abroad for players and technology allows us to easily do that more than ever.
English players are too expensive, especially strikers, even someone scoring a load in the conference they will want circa £500k.
Its more of a risk for the players than the club when coming in from abroad.

Great player but I remember hearing rumours he was on 10k a week at Orient! So not sure where he would fit in with our wage structure unless he has/would be willing to drop down to under half of that.

He looked class at this level with Walsall.

Am I in the minority thinking Leads is a great player on his day and more than capable L1 right back? He was a good player, I don't think he'll ever regain the confidence he had before all these injuries. Last couple of times I've watched him he's not making the overlapping run, he's sitting back and waiting for a pass back to him rather than a pass through to him, he won't take on defenders and midfielders, and doesn't hit top gear like he used to, but that lack of confidence has severely affected his play I can't say I blame the bloke, it's a 20 year career that you don't want cut short by 7/8 years through injury. At many other clubs he'd still be fine, but the DC way is wing backs, overlapping, through ball, cross into the keepers arms because we've got no strikers. If we can replace him with a confident player that plays DC football we have no reason to keep him unfortunately.

I like the look of ex Everton youth product Oliver Shannon www.goal.com/en-gb/news/everton-product-oliver-shannon-overcomes-tragedy-to-earn-mls/18d2shrnwz0ul1kj31ea1zyab9Might be a bit of a culture shock running out at the mem rather than the Mercedes-Benz stadium!! Adrian Heath's son Harrison is also a good prospect currently at Minnesota

What did we do when we got Nicholls? Peterborough was clearly too far to send anyone, because if we'd seen him play and train, we'd presumably know he couldn't hit a barn door at 5 paces. Think you'll find he scored more goals in all competitions for Peterborough last season than EH has for us this season - what does that say? He didn't. Nichols scored 13 goals in all competitions last season, Ellis has got 14 goals in all competitions this season. Those 14 goals are more than Nichols has managed in his entire time in League One (13 goals from 94 appearances).
