Will be sorry to see the printed version go but can understand the thoughts behind it.I know I am in a minority but I have kept a programme of every game I have seen snce the 1950's bar 1 which had sold out at Eastville. For many fans attending away games it's part of the I was there ritual for a small number of people. The programmes I buy could be read online but are read by quite a number of people at home amongst the magazines on a weekend. Also, on away games , a few of us bring a selection of old programmes to pass around which creates a lot of nostalgia for us old uns I haven't been going as long as you, but I also have a programme for every game I've been to, starting with my first game my Dad took me to back in 1990. It's fair to say that most of the away programmes are pretty poor in comparison, but it would be a real shame to see them go (I don't think ours would at this point in time). I'd feel like something was missing if I couldn't get my program. You ought to try ebay for your missing programme, I picked up one that way for the only game I had missing - it was actually Ipswich v Palace from the 90s.

I buy a programme at every game I go to. I missed the one at Rotherham the other week, the first in many years.

I think an online programme would be a good idea. I'd probably have a flick though it for half hour or so on the morning of a match day with me breakfast and it would be a good start to the build up. By the time it's match time to buy one it's too late really as half of it has been read on the website or elsewhere. I only buy one at the start of a season these days if we've bought a load of players in the summer to look at squad numbers on the back.

Does our programme make money? Do people - especially away supporters - know how good it is. I'm an ST holder and get a programme most weeks as it's a good read. Lots of general interest stuff that is good reading for home, away & even neutrals. As I'm now located in forest gumps territory I do get my Saturday football fix when fixtures allow. Quite good seeing bottom of league struggle when you know it doesn't affect you. Anyway, the programme. £3 put down in 5 minutes, shocking. I shall be forcing a rolled up copy of our programme down my fgr supporter neighbours throat to show him how it's done. It's rolled up as that's how they always end up. Can they make them ironable?

The problem with PDFs are people can easily forward them onto their mates.
I would make them available to veiw online - annual subscription, but then also offer buying the printed copy at discounted price.

Must admit, whilst I realised that all clubs did produce a programme, I didn't realise they were compulsory!

Good news. Keith Brookman and his team produce an excellent read and it continues to win awards.
