You sure? That post seems very contradictory, you trot off a list of unsubstantiated reasons as to why you think the Al Qadi's are doing a bad job as owners even going as far as calling them profligate and questioning their ambition and then you tell us to keep the faith and claim to be confident that it will all be ok. Very odd. How's the two interested consortiums by the way? You seem to have gone very quiet on that, I wonder why... Unsubstantiated? Where is the ground/redevelopment, where is the training ground? We've lost millions in each of the last two seasons, and we go appointing a commercial director, a CEO and secretary, a chief scout (Dubey? Where is he) Oh I know, he's based in our London office. Is it him who drives the Merc attached to the office? Yeah, I'd say that was profligate. I didn't mention ambition, because that doesn't come into it. We have to survive to have any ambition, or is the ambition that we will survive?. If you were running a business, would you run it like this? It's worse than under Higgs. Two consortiums? Not sure about that. I mentioned the one that was being spoken of in 'the corridors of power'. I'm confident, that with our potential, someone will see our true value. Hence, keep the faith. The CEO is from Plymouth formally Yeovil they are hardly footballing giants, so why do you feel they considered it appropriate to employ a CEO, and I assume his secretary, but if we do it then it's "profligate" (which ex-director told you that word as I doubt it's the usual term used on the Tote End/Thatchers End?) You do realise Merc's can be leased for £200 a month/£2,400 a year which is probably just a month's wages for one of our higher wage earners but if Dubey's still on the payroll then you know full well he's not the Chief Scout.

So now is the time for you lot to have a real good whinging post about anything the club and its employees are doing or not doing Feel free to get it all off your gas chest and let the club know just how you feel your are being let down I'm pretty sure our top echelon people within the club read this forum so this would be a good place to start OK what has watered me right off about our owners is the complete lack of ANY communication recently to the Fan Base ! so what has changed from the time they could not get enough Air time when the first moved in ? [br What a joke of a post, when piggy higgs took the club out of the league he went literally unchallenged. What do you want a repeat of history? A chairman blabbing about how well everything is going when nothing materialises? We finally have a group of professional businessmen who are clearly adding value to the club on a consistent basis and have turned a pub team operation under Higgs into a club that is growing in stature and structure in the sustainable way that WAQ said he would operate from day one. We will always have fans who refuse to accept this and continue to stir up for reasons only knkwn to them. Back to the start of the post, what an absolute joke, step outside get some sunshine and get a life FFS. Oh dear ..... That will upset the migrants

I want to complain about the fact that, for a few games last season, I was forced to watch attractive, skillful, attacking football from a Bristol Rovers side. I want to complain about the fact that I was properly entertained.
I have been a gashead for over 50 years and I expect to be thoroughly miserable when indulging in my lifelong "bete-noir". I am a gashead because I take pride in the fact that we can sometimes cobble together some results despite everything else that is holding us back. I certainly do not expect to be entertained.......
Bloody hell, for most of the game against Wigan, I was watching with a SMILE on my face - it was almost like being at a proper football match - I really enjoyed it and, no matter how much I tried, I couldn't be miserable. My carer almost had to take me home at half time because she thought that she had brought the wrong person to the game!!! What has happened to the club I love..........

Since you asked Henbury. I find it amazing that the club haven't had season-tickets available for purchase for the last four weeks and have made no announcement about when they are likely to go back on sale or how much they will cost. I've tried to buy a season-ticket for my daughter three times now and they won't take my money! And whilst I'm at it, when are we going to see images of the new kit, find out who the sponsor is and when it's going on sale? They are on general sale tomorrow mate so you will be able to purchase one from the club shop No idea what the hold up was about.

We finally have a group of professional businessmen who are clearly adding value to the club on a consistent basis and have turned a pub team operation under Higgs into a club that is growing in stature and structure in the sustainable way that WAQ said he would operate from day one. You jest of course. Pray tell what value they have added to the club? Where is the training ground ?, where are the plans to build a new stadium or indeed rebuild the old one? Indeed, ask Bristol City council when they last spoke to anyone from Rovers. So far they have employed god knows how many extra staff, thereby massively increasing the wage bill, and no known means of covering the cost. What we need more than ever is owners who will deliver the UWE as it's still our only feasible option, and stop the ridiculous strategy of gung ho spending until we can see a way of paying our way. Any extra funds should go on the playing budget, not on staff we can't afford. Recruit those people when we can afford them. The trouble with Higgs was that it was his money, and he couldn't accept that he didn't know how to run a football club. Sadly, we now have owners who are even more profligate. By the way, Is it true that our legal directors son works for the Cheltenham based consultants who are supposed to be sorting out the training ground? If so, nepotism comes to mind. Still, we can afford it. Im still confident that we will be ok, (with new owners), so keep the faith. Genuine question: Under previous owners what, other than the income of those individuals, was the means of paying for club expenses that we do not now have? My other question is still unanswered: Has your narrative now changed from "the owners do not have enough money to run a football club" to "the owners are spending too much money to sustain a football club"?
