Swindon after Menayese 1/ Should we keep him, 2/ Let him go out on another loan deal 3/ Let him go permanently
My choice would be option 2 for six months

We should definately not let him go!
I think he should captain the Development Squad, be given some first team action during the first half of the season (EFL trophy games and he can also provide cover for injuries and when Locks is off on International duties) and then loan him out to L2 club after Jan to keep building his experience.

Yep I agree, we should spread him out a bit.

We have only Locks, Broadbent and Craig ahead of him.
I would definitely keep him with the squad as he will get game time.
Depends more on how he sees it. Is he happy to play 10-15 games max this season or does he want more regular football?

Loan out,get some 1st team games and come back a better and more experienced young player... What harm can a 6-12 month loan do to hurt his development

Loan him out again to gain some experience, maybe not to Swindon again though.

Keep him in squad unless good loan opportunity arises for 6 months. Should not go back to Swindon as going public on their transfer hopes is bad form given he's contracted to us. Any approach should be to club/Dc not through unsettling press statements.

DC said he’s not after a CB this summer - which suggests to me that Rollin will be backup to Lockyer this season.

I'd keep him around the squad for now, between JPT/League Cup/FA Cup/League all before Christmas on top of development games then there's ample opportunity for him to get some playing time in the first team, especially when you take into account the international duty/injuries/suspensions that will no doubt occur before January. That being said if DC thinks that James Clarke could currently do a better job than RM at centre back then it may be worth loaning RM back out.
I didn't take Phil Brown's comments with any sort of disrespect intended, he was probably just asked about a player who played a decent amount of minutes under him whilst on loan. Same way that Clarke was repeatedly asked about Lumley and Sweeney last summer and will be asked about Bola/Telford etc. this summer.

I thought Phil Brown displayed a lack of class when discussing Rollin on the radio.
Compare that to how DC dealt with radio interview questions about Telford. He shut that one down by saying something along the lines of "I don't want to talk about another teams player"
Sheer class!
