This is quite interesting;
Zamora was watched by the Trinidad and Tobago coach, Leo Beenhakker, who also spoke to his club manager at the time Alan Pardew.However, Zamora turned down the chance of playing in the 2006 FIFA World Cup with Trinidad and Tobago, saying in August 2005, "Trinidad is my dad's country and to play in the finals would be a dream but West Ham are more important. I am only thinking about the club at the moment and do not want to be distracted from that.

Ronnie Mauge Nigel Pierre The Latvian Latvia have never qualified for a world cup finals. Trinidad and Tobago qualified in 2006 which was after Mauge's and Pierre's international career.

For Clarity - I don't care whether they were in the England squad or any other, I just want to know whether we have a world cup players who also played for Rovers. If Ronnie Mauge played for / was in the squad for Trinidad and Tobago in a world cup - that is good enough for me!

Gary Waddock was controversially left out of the Republic of Ireland 1990 squad by Jack Charlton.

A couple of nearly men were Junior Agogo who wasn't included in Ghana's 2006 squad and Liam Lawrence who played for the Republic Ireland in the 2010 'basketball' play off against Thierry Henry's France.

Rory Fallon.... New Zealand ? Rory Fallon scored the only goal over the two-legged 2010 AFC v OFC World Cup play-offs, sending New Zealand to only their second ever world cup. Every dog etc..

He looked more like a body builder than a footballer during his time at the Mem, maybe this was the reason for his shiteness?
