We need a little busy body like the beard up front to compliment Harrison and cause mahem in opposition defence As much as he is a good man, the beard needs to be off now if we have any aspirations of playoffs. make him a fitness coach or ship him on to exeter or forest green

Ok, he keeps it simple but what's wrong with that? He's a nightmare to play against and there are certain games where his constant harassing is clearly missed if he is not playing.
A great option to have in the squad.

I'd rather have the beard fit for only half the season than not at all he will be hard to replace

Using that logic we'd still have McM, Manse,Easter and even Gosling at the club? If we're really aiming for a top 6 spot then Sincs may have to move on if he wants regular first team action, as you sense even OC may struggle to get much game time this season let alone Sincs if Upson & Matthews are being seen as 1st teamers. Although perhaps he's just happy to continue being part of the Rovers squad.

You really don't need to respond to every post for the sake of it, it makes you look stupid! My point was that Sinclair has done a lot for our club and whether we think he deserves to stay or not (I think he does), he definitely doesn't deserve to be spoken about in such a dismissive and insulting manner!!! Yet again, I'm sat here in disbelief that I have to explain myself to you.

He must have gotten home and looked at his ageing wife and thought to himself “why am I still in this sexless marriage?” To cure his angst he logged into Gas chat and argued against every single post. Agree with something for once in your life man!

Why is Sinclair's ability and value to the side so regularly dismissed?
DC has trusted him throughout the journey and at no stage has his performance dropped for a length of time. He must be a pain to play against and I wouldn't mind betting that if we were fans if opposition clubs we'd pick him out as such. Onky one example I appreciate, but I seem to recall him giving the combined talent of Fabregas and Matic a real game at Stamford Bridge not so long ago.
I bet he plays in at least three quarters of the games he's available for this season. And rightly so.
A far, far better player than he gets credit for.

Personally l see Sinclair next season being very much a squad player, and agree with you, he will probably, when available for selection, play in 3/4 of those games, which will not be too many, as to date he has more often than not been un available because of injury.

That's not a bad return.

The injury-prone thing is overstated in my opinion. These are his appearance stats for us: 2014/15 - 28 appearances 2015/16 - 34 appearances 2016/17 - 45 appearances 2017/18 - 33 appearances That’s a fair wedge of each season and the least appearances he made was when we were in the conference.

I thought it was a scientifically-proven fact that as soon as The Beard gets injured, we charge to the playoffs.

I think a few people on here don’t know the game well enough to appreciate his role in the side. They would rather have a midfield full of Colketts looks good at times but really flatters to deceive.
