Well the ticket is being replaced by a card. Now as we all know the season "card" ( I like to be up to date) covers all leagues games at home. Just wondered what do we do for cup games? Queue up at the Portakabin windows to have the card updated?
I just wondered as we never seem to bother with a plan B

Don't worry. There won't be many cup games. We are better off out of them, so we can concentrate on the league.

Given some of us bought the s/t's online why would we need to go to the clubshop to have cup games added to the card. Do you ever post anything positive about Rovers?

Belter post. The whole point is so that we can have cup ticketing and away games generally properly prioritised and that we don’t have to deal with the ridiculous voucher system which has been jorrificallly abused by some supporters in the past. And so the club can do proper online and even telephone ticketing without having to spend admin expense on printing and dispatching tickets.
I’m still annoyed about non season ticket holders getting ‘priority’ over me for the Chelsea game because another season ticket holder didn’t want the ticket so thought they’d do someone a favour and let them have their voucher, not thinking about how they were doing over another season ticket holder.

Yes I do actually, but no one from the club can tell me anything about tickets for cup games and as I am not in the know, or even a smart arse like you I was just asking the question how do you get a cup ticket?

The whole point of the card is you don't queue up at a portikabin for big games. So fans who live away from Bristol but have season tickets stand an equal chance of big game tickets. Still, why miss the chance to slag off the club?

Why do we have a group of supporters who seem determined to slag off the club at any opportunity?

Only Rovers supporters could have a meltdown when the club actually try's to modernise and step away from an outdated system.

Still, why miss the chance to slag off the club? I'm not. Cup games are not included in the season ticket. People who want to pay on the day wont have a card. What I am trying to say is the club have yet to announce how they will deal with it. Every other week someone on here moans about the queues at the turnstiles. I never have. I think queues are good, shows we will have a big gate. However I have been to other grounds where they have card systems and the queues at the Ticket / card office have been big. If you can do it on line a few days before than that will be good , but asking at the shop, nobody knew. Yes there are a 7 weeks to go, but lets say 4000 people have Season ticket cards. If we have a gate of 8000+ which is feasible. This means 4000 people will have to get a card, and I would say a lot of them we want to buy them "on the day." Why is this question a dig at the club? It is a QUESTION that has yet to be answered. Meanwhile don't wear your hands out

Meanwhile don't wear your hands out They're not going to give out Season Cards for one off games, they'll just give out paper tickets with a barcode on, ya know...same as every other club that have dragged themselves out of the stone age.
I expect paying on the turnstiles will be an option too. Not sure why you're starting a whole thread just to bicker with people over this.
