Disappointed with KDB and Lukaku tonight. Expected more. Hazard and Mbappe were a class above anyone else on the pitch. What was the score? I was busy watching bareback mountain!

Our referee tomorrow night is Cuneyt Cakir to referee England vs Croatia World Cup semi-final. That's bad news then for us!
Cakir refereed Sir Alex Ferguson's last match in the Champions League in 2013 and sent off Nani for a high foot in their defeat to Real Madrid. United were winning the tie on aggregate but went on to exit the competition after Cakir sent off Nani, a decision that left Ferguson raging. Prior to the match he had told his backroom staff he was concerned Cakir had a tendency to send off players of English-based teams having dismissed seven but never any from teams playing against them. Also, Cakir has sent off three English players in the past: John Terry, Gary Cahill and Steven Gerrard.
Cakir has taken charge of two games so far in Russia. The first was Iran's 1-0 win over Morocco and the other was Argentina's 2-1 win over Nigeria which had some controversy in the game. Nigeria should have been awarded a penalty at the end of the game but he didn't award it. He was advised to view VAR which means he made the wrong call but he still stuck with his original decision which angered the Nigerians. In this 2 games, he has handed out 9 yellows cards but has yet to issue a red card. Obviously waiting for us!
But the good news is that England have never lost a game with him as ref. That's 5 games. But never been our ref in a tournament.

So who fancies our chances against les francais in the final. They ainโt all that, Mbappe quality snuff him out and itโs ours, pogba good in parts, griezman nothing special, Giroud reminds me of a better looking Gaffney. Belguim have better quality players, and there was not much in it. its coming home ๐โฝ๏ธ๐โฝ๏ธ๐บ๐

I didn't care who won tonight's match. They were so closely matched that it made no difference.
I'm more worried about Croatia than France at the moment.

Has Giroud had a shot on target yet in the tournament?. Overall if we can beat Croatia I'll never live it down if we lose to the French in the final with our French friends.
