Chaplin looks good, can’t say I remember him but would agree with others think we need a big unit. I am one of those.

They have a nice ground and training ground, but I thought they had no money

I genuinely believe him and D.C. are a perfect fit.
He’s probably the most similar player to Taylor that I’ve seen over the last two years.
Matty was extremely intelligent football, could change positions with relevative ease. Play in a 1, off the shoulder, come deep. Conor has this.
The Lyle taylor excited me, but I didn’t necessarily see the fit.

Coventry's number 10 yesterday. Would still liked us to have signed him. I really like him as he can come short and link play but also liked to get behind the defence. Has a low centre of gravity and I have a feeling he will go on to play at a higher level. The fact Pompey can afford to loan him out shows their strength in depth.

Sam Matthews has a low centre of gravity, as did about 90% of our team yesterday, probably why we won 😂

Ought to be starting! He could actually be the difference for players like Nichols, as he always plays to feet.
I don’t know why DC doesn’t play 3-5-2, would mean Sercombe (when fit) can play CM, we have 2x mobile CB’s in Parts and Lockyer to go either side of Broadbent.
WB’s would be THD/Kelly/Bennett & J.Clarke/Leads
With either Lines or Upson sitting giving freedom to players like O.Clarke and Matthews to find Reilly/Nichols/AJ

Didn't realise he's leaving Portsmouth. Coventry are signing him permanently in Jan. Think they could live to rue that. Hope for their sake they have a sell on clause. Sure they know more than me though!
