Just printed a pic of th new home kit to show my mum. She said it looks really lovely but why havent i changed th cartridge in th printer yet. If fans had an Input I think it would be different, bit too white and not enough blue definition for me but I am a traditionalist 😄

Maybe.
Now it is rare for me to be negative about our cub as I can see improvements on and off the pitch for the last few seasons. Yeah maybe communication could be a lot better but really I think our club are currently in its best place for decades. We own our own ground and its in Bristol, we have owners will to spend to improve facilities at the ground, we have a brilliant manager who thankfully looks like he is being overlooked by clubs higher up the food chain than us, we have a strong squad (just need a couple more signings), lush pitch, talks of a redeveloped/new stadium and new training ground and now record levels of sponsorship money received for this coming season. Things look very good. So I don't have a thing to be negative about, apart from posters who seems to enjoy posting rumours about negative things without actually saying who, what, when and why and expect us to be worried or angry with the club when we have no idea what on earth they are talking about as they speak in riddles or are intent in just winding people up. Just no need for it.
Years ago, I used to get a new shirt for my birthday and could wear it with pride on my holidays. Now in recent seasons, I still get it for my birthday but as a late present and too late for holiday. And now unfortunately this time, I will be getting it over a month late and most likely not in time for the first home game of the season. What the hell! I think our club should be getting this sorted earlier. Before this season, we were all aware of who was sponsoring us from the raffle draw by April. Why do we have to wait until the end of July? This season, if its a case of waiting for the money as you say could be a possibility, then we need to learn from this and put deadlines on for next season so we can get shirts in early so people don't have to miss out. The club I feel are missing out on funds that I have no doubt that they would be getting throughout the summer. Me and the kids want the new home shirt and that was the reason why we were going to go to the fun day tomorrow but as it wont be available tomorrow, the kids don't want to go (not out of principal but we had other plans that we were breaking especially for the fun day and now they cant get their shirts, they rather do what we originally had planned) so thats extra funds now that the club could be losing where we wont be spending elsewhere at the ground during the day.
Just frustrating.
You moan about posters spreading rumours w/o naming a source but then sem to accept HG's suggestion then FI may have been late paying up, when in truth nobody on here really as a clue why the shirts won't be available for a couple more weeks. Although I can't really see having to wait a couple of more weeks is really the end of the world, just as long as they are ready for the first home league game is really the main thing. What on earth are you talking about Topper HG aint spreading a rumour about FI late paying up. He was just pointing out to me not to be negative to the club because who knows, it may not be the clubs fault why the home shirts are not available, using FI as an example. HG comment clearly shows he didn't know himself and clearly wasn't actually spreading a rumour. To compare what HG put to the likes of some posters on here who post rumours claiming they are in the know, is to be fair an insult to HG
Look, I don't mean to be negative, like I said in my last comment, I don't have anything to be negative about as the club to me is in its best position for decades. I am just frustrated that's all where the shirt in not going to be available until the 1st home game. The way things have gone in recent seasons and are going this summer with issues with the new shirts be available to buy, I wouldn't be surprised if in a few seasons time that the shirts wont be available until xmas

No sign of Ellis modelling the new kit - must mean he's off. Trolololol I'm happy with the new sponsors, and don't mind the new kit, so needed to have my own meltdown about something!

Not very keen on that at all, it’s like Snackbox all over again. Far to much white and not proper quarters.

Disgusting new kits! Horrible! Very disappointed! I’ve lived rovers for 24 years and by far my least favourite home shirt! Just gross!

Must admit, I don't like either kit. Much preferred last season's designs.

That's fine Topper. If you cant understand it then fair enough. It's ok Like I cant understand how you feel Henbury's comment was anything remotely like those who claim they are ITK on stuff. End of the day there will be many things we both will post and we will agree on and likewise many things we will post we wont agree on. That's ok too It's all good Topper. There will be many people who will be frustrated or understand why I am frustrated and there will be many people who like you don't understand. That's ok

Can someone tweet him to add some more blue too? If they brought the top blue down further down and put the advertisers logo over it, it would not only look more balanced but also make the second word of the sponsor's name stand out more

The photoshopped one looks much better. Hope Gorringe is saying that’s how it’ll look rather then just the sponsor being centred in the white gap as it’ll look lost.

Incredible how much better the photoshopped one looks. Turns a 2/10 into a 9/10 (no shirt with a sponsor logo on it can ever be a 10).
Such a shame. I always felt we had the best kit in the country, but this year...

Blimey, a lot of divided opinions as to the kit. Too much white for me but it’s just about recognisably quarters which makes us so distinctive so it’s not too bad. But good to see designers trying to improve and be creative around the quarters idea. In the end it’s our kit for 18/19 only and we’ll probably be having this conversation this time next year about a different design so it’s as it is, important, but not that important. And I reckon that some people will absolutely love it because it strikes me as a very modern design. I’d be more concerned about it from a commercial point of view because it is quite late and I’m sure there are reasons for that. But I can understand cj’s point of view. After a World Cup that reignited a wider interest in football and great weather I’m sure leisure sales are well up this year and for many gasheads that would mean the shirt. I hope that our sales will just be later rather than not at all. TG seems very astute and I’m sure he will have made a note to do things differently next year, although tbf to the guy setting up a new venture might mean that certain delays were outside his control. UTG!

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we regret to inform you that the new kit will not be available for sale on the Open Day, this Sunday. We will update you with a new date as soon as we can. (Just had this via email from Rovers) No boom?

Applause to the Gashead who did the Photoshop job, I quite like the originality of the home shirt, but the photoshopped one certainly looks more "finished". The white gap is too big on the official version, which detracts from the appeal of the stripe effect on the quarters. I also always prefer the sleeves to be opposite colours, so I think the shirt would have looked nicer with a blue sleeve on the "white-quarter" side.

That's got to be the worst home kit ever even worse than the Tesco bag one ,it looks like the manufactures kid was practicing tie dying shirts and got it wrong ,way too much white ,does make you think we run out of money for the blue quarters so had to make do ,bloody vile
