We haven’t played at Twerton for 22 years now. Hard to believe but there will be many adult Rovers fans with no recollection of it whatsoever. I can't remember what I did last week! As long as you never spent more than a tenner you should be ok.

And here’s the same screenshot from January 2017 when I first joined. My total deposits were £11,000ish but just like normal gambling sites I was depositing and withdrawing all the time. Think the most I ever had in my account was £2,000. Don’t feel that you have to justify your self to some of the arse holes on here! This place thrives on negativity, I’m surprised that you haven’t been labelled a sh** head yet ! shhiii 😮oh sorry Bit suspect I think though, reminds me of a dating site when you get some fit bird message you then she says can you send me £200 for my flight from Moscow then we can meet and be together forever No I didn’t 😬

Err ... I haven't bashed the sponsorship deal. I just asked the guy who posts like he's getting paid by our new sponsor to post on here what his favourite Rovers memory is. If you haven't been paying attention he didn't give an answer. Clearly you’ve not been paying attention yourself. You asked me what my favourite Twerton Park memory was and I gave a perfectly logical answer. Asking for my favourite Bristol Rovers memory is a totally different question altogether and to be honest I don’t really know what it would prove? Its pretty obvious what it would prove. But you're still not tempted to answer.

I've been using football index for a while now for a bit of fun. It's decent. Ironically, I was only looking at this last week funny enough. P.S I'm so glad it's betting related after people moaning about that. Happy days. Get over it. All I want is the best deal for our club.

Rovers 4-0 win vs City. That goal from Channing that seemed pretty close to the half way line. I was right behind it at the front of the popular stand watching it arrow into the corner of the net. All 4 goals was special that game. Stewart's volly, Billy Oceans long range power driver and superman John Taylor's goal making it 4-0. Strangely though, what I remember from that game most is 1) Andy Cole being in Tilson's back pocket all game and 2) Browning being taken out on the half way line in a very dirty challenge and there was a bit of handbags between the players.
Many memories at Twerton and another favourite of mine was Saunders scoring against Liverpool and set up the replay.

True story read somewhere that our manager think it was Big Mal told the players that Keith welch their keeper had poor eye sight and to shoot on sight, might have been a load of bull but worked a treat😂 lee Nichols was a bit like that for us mind.

Thanks for your lovely welcome onto the gaschat forum Lord Justice Gashead. 2 down home to Oxford come back and win 4-2 can always remember archy beating his man down the left and unleashing a thunderbolt in the top right Archy archy archy ....and that's why asking for a memory from that long ago proves nothing! No one would ever accuse paulpirate of not being a Gashead but let's just say the memory has got kinda hazy and a bit embellished over the years and at least two different matches have been welded together here. I well remembered a match at Twerton where Oxford started like a train, were two up in no time and hit the post. It was still 0-2 with 17 minutes left and then we had a golden 10 minutes when first Gareth Taylor, then Paul Miller and finally Marcus Stewart all netted and we saw out the game 3-2...but I knew Archer didn't score in that one. So I looked up head to head in soccer base...we've never beaten them home or away by a 4-2 score line..they did beat us by that score at the Manor Ground. i do remember Archer scoring a couple of screamers at Twerton though, for some reason Chester sticks in my mind as he got two in that game and one was direct from a corner and also he got a cracker in a two one home defeat against Wycombe in the FA cup. Of course it's a bit easier to look up his exploits at Twerton as there are relatively few seasons to check in the BRFC definitive history book - Archy made his debut under Martin Dobson in the 1991-2 and did not score that campaign 1992-3 scored one goal..but it was away at Millwall in the final league game ever at the Den. 1993-4 scored six goals, but the only home goal was in that FA Cup game v Wycombe. 1994-5 scored six goals, three were at home, the two v Chester and one against Shrewsbury 1995-6 scored three goals, the only one at home being against Brighton in the Auto Windshield Trophy. 1996-7 we only played one game at Twerton and he did not score in it although he famously scored with his head in our next home match...the first one back in Bristol in ten years. so Archer scored a total of five first team goals for us at Twerton Park..and none were against Oxford. Tricksy things memories! When the question widened into favourite Rovers moment from just favourite Twerton memory I had to think for a few minutes. I reckon you always rate childhood memories more fondly...so I'm going to disqualify those starring Jarman and Wayne Jones, as well as all the brilliant stories my dad told me of Bradford, Bamford, Biggs, Hooper, Petherbridge, Lambden and Meyer...which were all magical Rovers moments for me. I think it has to be that moment that the ball trickled over the line at Wembley for the third goal in 2007 that meant for sure we had finally won at a National stadium after three failures and proved we could rise to the occasion and win a well attended match rather than choke on the big stage.

Surely there's only one game a true Gashead remembers at Twerton, which, away from Wembley, is possibly our most memorable game ever, or are posters deliberately not mentioning that game on purpose?
Back to FI isn't it just like any form of betting, to win you need a bit of knowledge and a large slice of luck, being a Gashead we always seem to lack the latter, which is why I rarely bet.

Stocks are different to gambling - lots of similarities for sure, and it's fair to draw comparisons, but ultimately they are different.
