I spoke to a lady in the club shop this morning and she said we should all receive our new cards by 6th August. I asked what the contingency was for anyone who doesn't get theirs before the first home game and there doesn't seem to be a plan for that as yet. I've just seen that the ticket statement is now on the BRFC club website. Cards are with the mailing house. The letters are being printed and will be mail-merged with the season tickets and sent out to supporters. Hmm, mailing house and mail merge. Nothing gonna go wrong there then. When one of you gets my season ticket in the post would you PM me so that I can collect it from you. If you are lucky I might have received yours

If I get yours, will I, for a change, have a scooby doo?

At the away game at Blackburn last season, their season ticket holders were entitled to 10% off anything in the club shop. And this wasn't just a one off, it was every time they went in there to buy something. Definitely a step up from Rovers practice over the past few years of having a small number of vouchers in the back of the season ticket books that can only be used once. Maybe Rovers could do something similar as well as any other things they may already have in mind.

But which would you prefer £50 - 10% for a replica shirt or £39.99? www.roverstore.co.uk/homekit/adults

And then if I went back a couple of weeks later for a tea mug I'd like 10% off the price of that. Then if my daughter's young lad wanted a replica Bristol Rovers kit I'd like to go into the shop for that and get 10% off also.
