Just about sums it up all our good players want to move to a club that is going somewhere just shows their ambition against dc's ? We can't compete with any of the Championship clubs financially. What is your point? It's not a lack of ambition from DC. Money talks and other clubs can offer Ellis something we can't at the current time. Jheeze imagine saying DC has a lack of ambition. Has DC done something to you in your personal life to f**k you off? Attack the post not the poster and all, sorry but you really are a miserable sod. His posts are a miserable sod.

IF it really is 1.6m plus add ons that sounds a decent fee tbh - pretty much bang on what he's probably worth, so would be happy with that

Fee is said to be 1.6 million plus add-ons. DC said in his interview yesterday that he is "99% sure" that he'll have a new signing in tomorrow (Monday) - so I guess we'll have one in, one out. Even then, the player who it's thought to be is a defender (Holmes-Dennis). We'll need another two strikers in! Though 1.6m+ would be very good for Ellis. Take everything on Twitter with a pinch of salt. His bio says "Links with the Bristol rovers board" lmao

Also, that Gary Wilson said Matty Taylor would come back in January, so that tweet is bollocks.

I'd rather use Chris Spittles as a source at £1M+, than garywilson66 who plucks numbers from out of his ass.

The only thing more sad than Ellis leaving is people still giving serious replies to midlandgas!

In today’s market 1.6 million isn’t that good eisa was about the same after one season in the league. Ellis has 2 promotions welsh u21 caps league and conference goals and assists whilst playing upfront in his own aswell as high Work rate and decent defending at set pieces

Any forwards at Ipswich or Blackburn who could possibly be used in a part exchange, anybody know?

Especially as that only leaves us Nichols to moan about.

Agree we will miss his workrate and helping out defending. Hopefully the fee is sufficient to get at least a couple of quality replacements.

Any forwards at Ipswich or Blackburn who could possibly be used in a part exchange, anybody know? Joe Nuttall is decent at Blackburn. I think we will go in for Macauley Bonne at Leyton Orient.
