What's even more funny is that leavers were spitting rivets when Gina Miller went to the High Court to force a meaningful vote in Parliament on any deal struck by a government. Without that they, the Government under May, would have pushed through what they liked. Which is exactly what the Johnson administration will do, given the opportunity. Ah, Gina Miller and unintended consequences. You've just got to laugh at that one. A Remainer Parliament didn't have the intellect to accept May's Withdrawal Treaty, which would have given Remainers the platform to re-join the EU. Instead, Parliament played infantile party politics. Johnson is not 'pushing through' anything. Parliament voted overwhelmingly to implement Article 50. It is now the law. In fact, it is the will of Parliament. If Miller had done nothing, May's withdrawal treaty would have been enabled, the UK would still be tied to the EU, and the remainers would be looking to re-join the EU within five years. Ha, ha, unintended consequences. When was A50 triggered? Think you'll find we had a GE since and subsequent Parliaments cannot be held by decisions of previous ones. Secondly, in the GE, the Conservatives stated no deal is better than a bad deal. It lost its majority. The Government (and by definition, the Conservative leadership) negotiated what it believed was a good deal. Labour wanted a Customs Union and won support. Most votes in 2017 went to parties promising a deal on leaving. There is no mandate for no deal. Fast forward 2 years, we have a PM elected by fewer than 100,000 party members pursuing a no deal that was never scrutinised by the public, against the wishes of Parliament and with the threat of proroguing. I thought we voted to give Parliament back its sovereignty not install an unelected leader who may close Parliament down. That is not democracy.

You've got it wrong. It is empty because she expects to walk away with their offer. We're offering nothing! Proper negotiations. Offer nothing to start and make them drag concessions out of you. Her dress needs a damn good ironing though. Standards lass, standards. It is empty because there is nothing that is up for discussion. The House is Democrat, they need to ratify any trade deal and won't if there is no deal or a danger to Irish relations. Besides, any deal will be years away and neither will be in position to do anything about it.

You crack me up oldie, as I told you previously, the bloke who originally crowd funded to bring a private prosecution, is a private prosecution lawyer, he took god knows how much money from the public. Now, after he's had a taste of the money, he's at it again. Remind us oldie, how did the first case turn out..?

Shock horror story. Boris gets himself elected on a hard no deal ticket and then tones it all down once in power. I didn't see that one coming.

That would require a degree of honesty that there is no evidence for.

But then I always am induced into a wry smile by some of the ideologically committed leaver's comments on here. But, in the meantime, the Government have committed to, at the last count, £6.1 billion in extra spending (borrowing) on Brexit. Nearly a third of the amount they have committed to spending on a chronically underfunded NHS. Go figure.

To be fair this is a bit disingenuous. 6.1 billion sounds like a lot, sure, but when you add the £ at the front it becomes f**k all lol
