Is it 5.00 pm the cut-off time for registering a new player with EFL if he's to be included in squad tomorrow? According to the post, it's 12.00 which would make it too late for any new signing to play. Hope there haven't been any last minute buffers to the deal as DC alluded to. Of course you are assuming that if we were to sign someone, it would be on twitter the millisecond we send the fax to the League. We could have signed someone this morning, and just not announce it yet (not saying we have, mind)

Would of thought we would of announced them already if that had been the case but paperwork and contracts can always be complicated processes.

Where did the club say anyone was supposed to sign yesterday? This is the trouble, hopes become expectations. DC said "we are in advance talks", "but that these things can hit the buffers" Somehow, the BEP interprets that line as "someone is signing today" and then gaschat interprets it as "The club promised a new striker by the Posh game" SH said in an email to BidefordGas the club hoped to tie up a deal this week and DC repeated that yesterday, regardless what other league side has let two CF's leave and not get one replacement in? Anybody supporting the club on this particularly issue is either a WUM or blinded by thier Rose Tinted spec, with the "missing" stands news you do have to wonder what's going on in the background we don't know about. What are you talking about?? Hamer said we hoped to get someone in this week. So did DC. The point being made was that the poster interpreted that as "someone was supposed to sign yesterday", so will no doubt somehow feel 'let down'. This is no fault of the club. If people want to twist communication from the club that is up to them. I would suggest people read the e mail from Hamer, and listen to the interview with DC. Its remarkably simple to do. No conspiracy going on. I really hoped/hope we get someone in this week too. If not hopefully it will be early next week.

Or maybe it's just mind games, someone has signed but DC don't want Peterborough to know, just a thought

The only things they have managed to successfully achieve is alienating the programme editor and putting the prices up.

It looks like another case of the club leaving transfer dealings too late. It is disgusting really that Telford, Gaffney and Ellis have gone and only one striker has come through the door.

Are you not "twisting the communication" - suggest you read the email.

See Bogle is going on loan to Ipswich now. Will that effect the Healey deal, if it's still on the table? Seems weird he was supposed to sign yesterday apparently, but then nothing happened. Can't see him playing in the Premier league though, so might not have any impact anyway. Where did the club say anyone was supposed to sign yesterday? This is the trouble, hopes become expectations. DC said "we are in advance talks", "but that these things can hit the buffers" Somehow, the BEP interprets that line as "someone is signing today" and then gaschat interprets it as "The club promised a new striker by the Posh game" Didn't say the club said. Fans in the know, from both clubs, said he was though and he did like the tweet. DC said early in the week and then by Saturday as well. So obviously there has been a hold up with someone, if not him.

Apparently Plymouth are now showing an Interest! Warnock has history with Plymouth, so wouldn't be surprised if he ended up there instead. Is that what the hold up is then??

Good to clear it up, glad we are now all on the same page.
