Half hour to the usual excuses why we haven't signed anyone. Stevek192, clearly you are a dedicated supporter and you should be respected accordingly. But I genuinely don't understand why you go because clearly it causes you tremendous emotional pain which is evident in practically every one of your posts. I genuinely am confused.

To 'Contradict' you - Hamer stated on Tuesday - "we hopefully are close to landing replacements for Ellis Harrison today" - three days ago. Are you not "twisting the communication" - suggest you read the email. Indeed. Its very clear what he said isnt it. He said HOPEFULLY we are CLOSE to landing replacements. Good to clear it up, glad we are now all on the same page. You forgot to add "today" after "replacements" you do tend to like to try put people down with your aggressive posts to suit your arguments - just to be precise and clear things up - pathetic!!!

From the Bristol post..
“BristolLive understand Rovers were close to completing a deal for a League One striker today, however the formalities could not be completed despite a price being agreed between the clubs involved. The signing is expected to be completed and announced early next week.”

Same old rubbish. Always something to scupper it and no doubt we will miss out altogether.

I'm not wrong, am I?

Apparently Plymouth are now showing an Interest! Warnock has history with Plymouth, so wouldn't be surprised if he ended up there instead. Is that what the hold up is then?? Warnock would prefer to go to the muff! This comes from someone ITK at Cardiff

Either way, it’s not exactly a cheap/short day out tomorrow so I (and everyone else who’s there) hope we play with a bit of passion .

Would fit the bill if true.

It looks like another case of the club leaving transfer dealings too late. It is disgusting really that Telford, Gaffney and Ellis have gone and only one striker has come through the door. Transfer deadline is next week. We don't have to have signed everyone by today.

We MUST sign a recognised striker next week, one or 2 loans and even the most optimistic of us may concede its going to be a season of struggle. How long will DC put up with it is my biggest worry.
