Brought mine this afternoon at the shop no problem at all. The ladies at the shop very helpful and the shop itself very impressive.
The shine slightly taken off by how behind the times we are in terms of having to scribble down my seat number, name and address along with adding my dash to a pretty busy looking tally chart on a crude hand made spreadsheet on the desk... made me slightly worried how we will cope cashless with the new ticket system if we're still in the living in the 19th century with our sales recording techniques. Like trying to engineer a Ferrari only weeks after inventing the wheel.

By only allowing the purchase of away tickets on line by individuals will go some way to insure you have a decent chance of getting a ticket. Under the previous system people rocked up at the club shop with handfuls of season tickets for their mates/ friends etc and in some cases these tickets were passed onto other none ST holders. At least under the new system we will all be on a level playing field,

Except I can get mine but not for someone else who is coming with me and has a season ticket.

I know with the previous system some were going in with Season tickets for enough people to fill a coach. Fact.

Do you mean this younger person does not have internet access as I thought all Season tickets had to be linked to email addresses . Surely none of us needs an online account with the club?

As I understand it under the previous system somebody could call into the club shop with let's say 25 season tickets, hand over the 25 vouchers and be issued with 25 tickets in a few minutes. Now under the new system the same person will have to go online with the details of all 25 ST holders and carry out 25 separate transactions. Whether they will be able to do this with one bank card is another question. However this will take far more time thus enabling more individual ST holders a decent chance to purchase theirs online.

Tickets for Rovers trip to Wycombe Wanderers will go on sale to Priority Group One supporters on Monday 6th August at 9am. Darrell Clarke's side travel to Adam's Park on Saturday 18th August to take on The Chairboys, kick-off 3pm. Priority Group one will have exclusivity until Wednesday 8th August, with Group Two being eligible from Thursday 9th August until Saturday 11th August. Tickets will then become available on general sale on Monday 13th August, subject to availability. Please note all tickets must be purchased online. Helpline members need to contact the ticket office on 0117 909 6648, option 1. This is an All Ticket game meaning supporters must purchase tickets in advance of the game and may not do so on the day at the ground. If you would like to be seated next to someone in particular, due to the one ticket per membership policy, please phone Clare McDonagh on 0117 952 4001 to arrange this.Prices for the match are as follows; Adults £20 60+ £17 19-25 £15 13-18 £11 Under-12s FREE Ambulant disabled tickets are charged at the relevant price category (wheelchair users must contact the Wycombe Wanderers ticket office). Clare will be busy then... who goes to an away game on their own? I prefer online ticketing but you have to be able to buy multiple tickets if you have a group of season ticket holders. Other than Wembley and Cardiff I can't remember a game where everyone sat in their allocated seats anyway so what's the problem
