But he is injury prone and is getting older. They might find a coaching job for him, but lets be honest he has missed the second half of every season except one. Can we afford to keep him? I can't imagine he's on a huge wage and we've seen he can do a job when in the team. I'd keep him as long as possible with a coaching role after. Wasn't he a personal trainer before? Having seen the car he drives, I imagine he would be affordable! Yes, he used to work as a personal trainer before turning professional.

If wages allow, I’d keep Beard. He’s not the best player in the league, but he provides something that others can’t. His energy, spirit and work ethic is infectious.

People like DC & Sinclair are the exact sort of people this club needs. Sinclair MUST be our future fitness coach, I can't imagine anyone better

Alex Ferguson was the master at choosing the right players for different occasions. He knew the importance of legs in midfield against the big sides in European football. The first names on his team sheets in those games were always Park Ji-sing and Darren Fletcher. Not the best players in his squad, but they had their roles. If Rovers face a good, passing side on a big pitch away from home, you know you can rely on Sinclair to cover the ground in the middle of the park to break up the play and hassle the opposition.

Can’t think of many fitter, committed players in my time watching ithe Gas. Would run through a brick wall for team, whilst others wouldn’t run through a wet paper towel.

Well he certainly wasn't a hairdresser
