Care to expand, any substance to this view? There is, but you would not expect expansion on an open forum. I merely seek to reassure the doubters and remind everybody that the Al-Qadi family are honourable people who want the best for our Club, and also that despite what people say on the forum about the current debt - OUR football club is worth a darn site more than the value of the Memorial Stadium. (even despite annual losses) I hope you are right. If you are, would you say things progressing well and are we still looking at Dec/Jan?

Higgs wasn't forced to sell anything. His mum made him sell his first motorbike. Not because it was dangerous but because he looked ridiculous on a Honda Step-through. Nothing wrong with the Honda 50

If you look at AJIB accounts for 2016 they had 1.8 billion in assets, 1.1 billion in deposits and made a profit of 33 million before tax. A dividend of 18 million was paid out to share holders of which the AL Qad1'S would have got about 6 million the divi pay out for 2017 was 14 million. So the family bring in about5-6 million a year from their investment in the bank. AJIB has banks in Cyprus Qatar and London as well as of course their main banking in Jordon. To put if bluntly it appears they are asset rich but relatively cash poor. That is why we have no new stadium and no signs of a new stadium, no new training ground and no new money for DC. It is also the reason why any improvements to the stadium have to be financed by sponsorship, and we still have to sell our best players. As for Higgs he married into a wealthy family of builders and his money originated from his Mrs before he to got involved in Cowln Construction.

we aren't for sale (although not that we won't be sold) but they don't want to invest.
So clear as mud and as (non)sensical as anything else in as many ways

I don't do the other forum. Have a read as to what Vaughan thinks..... Rumour So Vaughan is basically saying SH told whoever was listening on Saturday in the Directors box that Wael is prepared to sit on the asset that is the Mem, Knowall meanwhile is claiming we'll hear some good news in 5 months or so, someone is clearly wrong?

I know, a fool and his money! I did think that Henbury might have responded to an advert by AJIB, but then reconsidered when I wondered how keen they'd be to be associated with a string of brothels in Cairo, Amman and every other Middle East capital! You make more from brothels than you do hotels I would think
