Assuming he plays, what would be the best right flank combination against him.

Assuming he plays, what would be the best right flank combination against him. leadbitter and rodman running/dribbling at him with pace, Bennett being tricky and quick would work too! UTG!

UTG! tens to think Clarke may be better defensively against those damn crosses! Plus if you stop the one two you stop him going forward!

Assuming he plays, what would be the best right flank combination against him. I would say Leadbitter and Matthews possibly Yeah i reckon that would be best. Mathews running inside at Browners right side would cause him problems. And Leadbitters pace on the outside would too. Hopefully. He’s started two out of the three games for them so far and they’ve played 4-3-3 once and 4-4-2 once in those two games.

It will be interesting to see Lee Brown in opposition. We've definitely missed him so far and I hope THD can get fit soon to improve our options on the left hand side.
Speaking of which, we need to keep an eye on Jamal Lowe on their right hand side - he's looked pretty potent so far. Hawkins (No 9) seems to be able to get his head on everything as well. It looks to be a tough game to me.

We giving him a superb welcome? I will be! Traditionally, we would, but I'm taking my lead from DC.
No sympathy until after the final whistle!!

IMO Leadbitter RB and Matthews RW would cause Browner all kinds of problems - Matthews cutting inside and Leadbitter’s pace on the overlap sounds like a good combination to me.
Difficult to leave J Clarke out of the side atm though, unless he moves to LB.

It looks to be a tough game to me. All Pompey's goals on Saturday came from Lowe down their right side, so our left side seems to the one to worry about rather than right side. I assuming Leads was rested on Saturday so he can play tomorrow, if so, will JC move across to the left and TC backs to CB?
