Look at his signings in league one. Look at his poor starts to every season Look at his constant tinkering and playing players out of position and refusal to drop favourites. He is not a messiah. If he goes life will go on. Do we trust the current owners to replace him adequately? There lies the problem imo. Nothing new there then with Rovers? I don't get this talk of people paid by Rovers not pulling in the same direction as surely the ALQ's can't be classed has paid employees is he really referring to SH(?) and the like talking up a sale rather the owners? "Everybody that is getting paid by Bristol Rovers should be pulling for the club. That is all I have ever asked for, that is all I have ever wanted; to make sure we are all pulling in the right direction. “I don’t think that is the case at the football club as it stands at the minute, but that is for other people to discuss."

Two mid table finishes, according to most Rovers fans both whilst apparently under terrible owners? His signings haven't been bad and I'm actually surprised at how bad we have started. That said, I do wish he would stop mentioning the off the pitch problems. I'm one of DCs biggest fans and I have complete faith in him but he does seem to be coming across as trying to convince the fans too much that the poor start isn't completely down to him. I think DC has lost a lot of motivation to manage Rovers. The bloke turned down better prospective jobs to stay here and it seems the reasons he chose to do that have since been broken. IMO if we sack DC it'll have the same effect as when we were last relegated from League 1. We need to stick with him and hope the new owners, if they're real, and DC see eye to eye and we don't see broken promises.

Won't be throwing a tantrum if we lose.

I love DC to bits but he is our best paid manager ever and currently isn’t delivering. A bit more delivery and a bit less moaning would be nice.

Xande Silva for West Ham will be one to keep an eye on for the few that will be attending.

Just focus on what you're paid to do Darrell and get this team you've assembled out the mess you and they have got themselves into. Not a particularly wise move to try and deflect the on field issues that you're responsible for, it can only add fuel to the fire which is already burning.

Looks like my interpretation of what DC said is completely different to everyone else's opinions.
I don't believe for one second that DC's words are aimed at the owners or the like. To me DC's words are aimed at the players.
If you listen to what DC said on Saturday following the defeat at Luton, DC blasted the players who are not performing.
In today's interview, making the statement "everyone paid by the club should be giving 100% for the club", to me DC is still talking about these same players that he blasted on Saturday. He is publicly calling them out, reminding them they are paid by Rovers so should be giving the club 100% and is making it known to the fans that he knows the problem and will be dealing with it as he goes on to mention in previous seasons he's had slow starts and always been able to sort it out.
Yes DC goes on to give a positive afterwards by saying the players are a close knit group. That tells us there are no divisions among them and that they are all still together in this. But as he said on Saturday, there are quite a few players who are not pulling their fingers out in games. And as a paid employee to Rovers, they need to start pulling their fingers out and start giving 100% to the club. And rightly so. DC is saying what we all want to hear. But to me, some have miss-interpreted his words to mean something different putting 2 and 2 together to make 6.
Lets get off DC's back and get behind him. We know he is capable of turning things around like he has for the last 4 seasons when we started badly. He is the best manager for the job. The players have under performed. Lets not slag them off at the games but get behind them and count as the 12th man. Lets also stop looking in every nook and cranny from everyone, to use to hit the owners with a bat.

If it is just the players why's he referring to everyone paid by the club and not just the players, perhaps he's trying to send out a hidden message but if challenged by the owners he can just say he was referring to the players.

I’m sure many of us have worked for employers that have been or are being taken over, restructured, put in administration, had investment plans pulled etc. Hardly rare. Deal with it!

I think people hear what they want to hear. I just heard a manager talking about how he would approach the game.

Competition is a farce, if nothing else I hope DC uses it to give game time to those on the periphery (Kelly, Jakubiak, Rodman) and those needing fitness (soon to be THD, we can only hope...).
