David Penny 2011 was the scapegoat when it wasn’t all his fault. And Campbell wasn’t the hero he like to portray himself as. Paul Buckle 2011/12 was out of his depth, not his fault but if he had just kept quiet it would have been better. At least he brought a few good players to us. JJOT 2014. Again he was made the scapegoat but tbh if other players had played as well as him at times we would have survived. Not a team player, not his fault he was not the sharpest tool in the box. Those 4 years were crap. Why stop at 3 if we went to 6 we could add Gary Kenneth and McGhee esp after that away match at York and onwards and add perhaps John Ward. They were all true scapegoats in as much as they were vilified when our drop into non league wasn’t just their fault. Blimey, those years just get worse and worse and those managers/players were awful. How on earth did we have so many inept players and managers at the same time or following close behind. Bad luck or a board who took their eyes off the ball? UTG!
