Yeah, the trouble is we're in this 'we shouldn't even be in this place' place. If we'd just got to the Championship then everyone would be ready to hit the ground running and support us through an obvious relegation battle, and no matter how many we'd be losing by, everyone would be up for it. While we arse about at say below halfway to 20th in League 1, people can't make up their mind whether to moan about an averagely poor season, or to really get their relegation struggle boots on. That's part of the reason we got relegated to the conference, imo, no one really believed we were in a relegation struggle until just before the Wycombe game, and then once we won that, no one really believed we'd go down. A lot of the people that stand around me at matches seem to be resigned to relegation this season which I think is strange considering we haven’t spent much time in the relegation zone and there is a lot of the season left to played. I think it’s mainly due to the sudden downturn in our home form that is influencing most people’s opinions, they can only see what is in front of them and to go from one of the best home records in the league to 6 defeats in 9 this season seems to have convinced most that we will struggle to survive. We’re not sleepwalking towards relegation this time, we seem to be have almost been consigned to it by a section of supporters and that to me is even worse. I want to see this can do attitude return to us and a belief that we are better than what we are performing at the moment but this will only happen once we get a couple of home wins under our belt and with Barnet and Gillingham being the next two visitors to the mem there is no better time to do it.

If you cannot see we are not sleep walking towards relegation with this squad of players, you watch different games than I do To many small lightweight players who are not good enough Cannot cross a decent ball to a forward who cannot jump A midfield who are not creative enough No width in the team Two goalkeepers who are not good enough Forwards who cannot score Owners who have disappeared Manager saying we won’t be signing any players in January Apart from all that were ok

Because we’re so incapable of scoring up front. Which is a shame, as we’ve sorted our defence for the first time since we’ve been back in League One and have some tidy tidy players in Sercombe and on paper players like Upson. If we could score we’d be looking towards the top end I reckon. Remember why I said on paper for Upson. How does this player get his name on the team sheet. He’s in a role that makes him heart of the team setup and he is a liability. You can see how MK Dons got relegated last season

So you don't care about Bristol Rovers you only care about the owners? Well as usual the strong supporters will keep us going and when we get better you can come back. If we all did what you propose to do there won't be a Bristol Rovers to come back to. Thanks for the invite to come back - I've been coming back for well over sixty years but I wont be coming back as a season ticket holder next season. And until these current owners are gone I wont be renewing. I don't get why you're going on about the owners. They own Bristol Rovers, they are not Bristol Rovers. Many clubs have survived because the fans have got them out of trouble when their owners let them down. If you want Bristol Rovers to continue then giving up is not the answer. I have been going for over 60 years too and I shall continue to go until I physically can't go any longer.

Disgrace that tonight we are playing a non league team that have a better Stadium than us, and if we beat them we face another even lower non league team with a better Stadium as well. Totally agree - but frankly I've given up caring anymore. For the first time I will not be renewing my season ticket next season if this lot are still in charge. yeah me and my old man thinking the same too.

To imply that we are sleepwalking to relegation would be saying that we are heading for a drop that no-one sees coming although that is quite clearly not the case as it is only November and most are predicting it. You mention all these weaknesses but the fact remains that we are creating plenty of chances and making a game of it against most teams but the failure to convert chances is hamstringing us, fix this and we fix most of our problems. Oh and we have one of the best goalkeepers in the league in Bonham, not sure why you've said he's not good enough?

But what you 2 posters are saying is totally normal. Like all clubs our support goes up and down depending on the teams fortunes. The die hard fans were among the 5,000 at the start of the conference season but we get 9,000 when the team are flying. You two are simply part of the 4,000 fans we will lose depending on how much we struggle. Bye

Bye I completely get what you’re saying but we used to be one of the 5000 - look at tonight’s attendance for example - not for years has it been that low!

Your not one of the 5,000 now but hopefully others will take your place. Its your money and time so im not blaming you. Charlton had a smaller crowd last night despite being a bigger club than us so im not sure the fa cup is a good guide but crowds will fall if we stay near the bottom for certain.

Perhaps I am implying something as it stands today, that not many can see happening, including yourself Football is a funny old game and your quite right chances are being created and can suddenly end up in the net and with Nicols scoring who knows what may happen The weaknesses are there for all to see, the squad is at the moment not good enough, and with it being mentioned that it is unlikely to change much in January ( although this may be DC bluffing ) and with our non existent owners not saying anything there is unfortunately a bad feel being created at the club. Who knows the rumours may be true and they want to get out and are in the middle of selling Regarding the keepers I said two keepers perhaps I should have said, the one at Lincoln and the one who played against Barnet Not the loan keeper. Bye the way I am not resigned to relegation and your quite right it’s only November, but as it stands today creating chances does not get you anywhere except where we are, unless of course you take some of them, That is the reality of our situation, and nobody would be happier and proved wrong, starting next Saturday
