We could almost put a team out of crap signings from the last 3 transfer windows.

Are people forgetting that we have a so called infrastructure in place which means players are scouted and identified before being presented to the board and DC as being options.
DC should not be held fully accountable for signings as those decisions are normally formulated by backroom 'specialists'. Isn't that why we have this Widdrington fellow? What is his role in all of these signings.

Upson has been improving lately and has looked good at times. His signing wasn't needed though, we already had loads of midfielders. Any news on THD?? Did he pick up another injury last night, or was it a precaution??

Holmes-Dennis, when fit, has championship ability. Him having a setback hasn't been the main cause for our struggles with Kelly stepping up. It's not ideal but for the player we were getting, most definitely worth the risk IMO Like we will need that in League 2. And you are blaming Kelly for our problems? No the manager is the problem. We have the worst strike force in the division. Fact We won't go down with DC in charge. Nope I'm saying Kelly has stepped up brilliantly, so missing THD isn't as big a problem as it could've been.

I don’t see how that’s a remotely comparable situation. Firstly, Bodin had made 16 first team appearances by this stage of his first season with us. Holmes-Dennis has made 0. Secondly, Bodin wasn’t brought in to replace one of our best and most consistent performers over the previous 5+ seasons. Holmes-Dennis was. The risk in the Bodin signing not working out was far less. Is that the person who left the club because he wanted to be near his family in London ? the same person who still lives in bristol ? No, that’s the person who could see the sh** was gonna hit the fan, and got the f**k out of here!! Don’t blame him one bit.

I remember his last interview Browner said that this club is not ready to be a championship club and it needs a new ground etc.Maybe he saw what was happening behind closed doors,or was gunna and thought Ive done my time here and its time to move on.

Feel for upson and Rodman as I think if they had a decent run then they’d turn out to be good signings! Trouble is tinkerman doesn’t do settled! I literally wouldn’t blink if we released Payne today and I never understand signing injured players!

and you base this on what Both Upson and Rodman played well last night Payne i'll give you Holmes Dennis we knew he was not fit when we signed him and that's why he is a here on the cheap I’m not sure we were watching the same game. I thought Upson was absolutely abysmal last night, gave the ball away constantly, misplacing every pass. Im with you on this. He's had some good games, but he certainly reverted to type last night. Payne is abysmal signing. Rodman has had some personal issues and I'm not going to judge him yet and THD just needs some time to heel. Micheal Kelly in that position though has overall done very well and Joe Martin had a good game against scunthorpe.

If you were to be asked by a non-Rovers fans who are your regular starting 11 ? Gk. Bonham LB: don't know CB: Lockyer CB: Craig RB: don't know RM :don't know CM: Ollie Clarke CM: don't know LM: Sercombe (although playing out of position) CF : Nichols CF: don't know So with team selection this season there are 5 positions out of 11 where players have been in and out of the team - incredible !! This is like kids U8s football not a L1 pro club

Let's be honest if any of us say what was coming this season would we have signed a new contract at Rovers or moved to Pompey on a better deal and a likely promotion/play off push along with potential Championship football next season? To be fair to LB it was also DC who came up with the "family reasons" story for him wanting to leave. Back to his replacement why didn't we get Bola or a similar loan player in as cover til January.

or a calculated risk, Like Bondin was............... I don’t see how that’s a remotely comparable situation. But ever since DC has been in charge he has rotated the side regardless of the result almost each game and it has brought him and us two promotions so it can work if you have the quality of player. But its clear its not working right now and it seems we dont have the quality either.

Has there been a worse transfer period in recent times? Someone should be asked serious questions about how poor the recruitment has been which has led to this mess. Yes, or at least as bad.
Winter 2013 - Kaid Mohamed, Alan Gow, Steven Gillespie Summer 2013 - Andy Bond, Chris Beardsley, Will Packwood Summer 2012 - Sam Walker, Ollie Norburn, Dave Clarckson, Tom Parkes, Matt Lund, Tom Eaves, Fabian Broghammer, Seanan Clucus, Garry Kenneth, Lamar Power, Rogvi Baldvinsson

The manager is not the problem he has loyalty to the club for some reason and without him we’d have nothing. No new face would wring any more out of our owners and if we were to go down he’s the ideal man to bring us up
