Definitely in for me. He is still searching for the answer but I reckon DC is more likely to find it than anyone else.

And I find it very reassuring that 9 out of 10 people still think the same. There was a big emotional reaction to Wednesday night which is understandable, but in the cold light of day it appears most people think DC deserves the chance to sort it and, more importantly, can sort it.
Midland of course has been very consistent which I give him some credit for, I still disagree with you though Midland.

Great polling so far, I was worried with all the commments on here and social media after Barnet that a majority where starting to turn on him. Hope this is reflective of the whole fan base.
Been away for a few weeks now, not witnessed the abyss since we beat Wimbledon (left that game dejected), but I may be one of the only Gasheads looking forward to Gillingham on Tuesday!

Some of his tactical decisions seem strange and he makes us play too negative at times for me but still in for me.
The problems at the club are above him, and i dont see what replacing him would do except bring uncertainty to the squad, we'd still be left with the same players.

It's interesting and I'm pleasantly surprised by the poll here. I seen something on a rovers Facebook page which had it more like 350 in and 250 out roughly when I checked. Shows we have much more decent and understanding fans on here IMO. We are struggling right now but we just need to stick together and get behind the lads. That is our job. I'll give you some recent stats why he definitely should stay... Despite losing a few, We've only lost by 1 goal all season (correct me if I'm wrong) It was only 3 weeks ago, we beat Blackpool away 3-0. When it has been that bad before, can you remember getting results like that just before us sacking a manager?! Hit the woodwork 5 times in our past 2 games and looking more like scoring in each game recently. One of the best defences in league one.

All these arguements for DC are all very emotive.....but... I think a different manager would have kept us in the league. Some people seem to think we somehow benefited from that experience, which I don't get. He has done well in the past but I believe he's become so soured by his experience with our owners that it's effected his job and is consequently affecting the players. DC is a great bloke and will no doubt have a decent career but he's having a very bad calendar year here and there's little sign of improvement. I think a manager who comes in with a fresh view and see's it as a positive challenge and not a battle will have a better chance of avoiding relegation. People seem to take offence at any criticism of DC but sometimes you might be the right person in the wrong place. With our budget there is no excuse for relegation and exiting the FA Cup at home to a poor conference side The shambles on Wednesday night could well have cost us several hundred thousand pounds and DC put that side together and briefed them on their jobs. So he has to take ultimate responsibility. Blimey - we're not down yet! Not sure any decent potential manager is going to trust our owners given the track record over the last couple of years. We're having a bad patch but only two weeks ago we won 3-0 at Blackpool for heaven's sake. DC has shown us loyalty when dirty Leeds came calling so let's show him some.
Unfortunately once were down it will be a little too late to do anything about it. As for being loyal,in all fairness he is being extremely well paid to do a job he loves. I don't think anyone with half a brain would have gone to Leeds when he was being considered. He's not exactly being asked to go down a mine in a horse hair shirt. It's not a hate of DC or anything as silly he just appears to be the wrong man in the wrong place at the moment.
