It was the collapse of the UWE that did it for me with the AQ's. It was perfect, great location, transport, potential revenue, design etc. I can't see us ever getting anything as good. Surely we could have negotiated for that better deal with them, were talking about some boffins at a mediocre university, not the leaders of the bloody EU! I just can't believe that a good deal for all couldn't have been struck. Saying that I still do believe we're in a better position now than under the previous lot, and can't blame them at all for todays announcement, football wise it had to happen, we need a fresh start. We made a change at the similar time of the season sacking Buckle and McGhee and both times the new man steadied us, brought in some decent additions and more than kept us up. There's enough still to play for for this to happen again. Exactly, we should have been kicking off a year ago as it was as obvious then as it is now that this lot offer us nowt apart from servicing the debt they have helped to run up. It's taken DC for everyone to wake up....at least we got there in the end.

The ‘necessary changes’ is (IMO) obviously referring to to the stadium and training ground. Something is being worked on but we won’t bd told until it’s in the bag 100%. There is no takeover...there won’t be a takeover and there never was gonna be a takeover .

There is no takeover...there won’t be a takeover and there never was gonna be a takeover . Well if he means stadium and training ground he should just say that, and with some conviction. The statement is vague and leave people guessing. I want to hear "we are working on Stadium and Training ground and will know either way by "a date", ....plans are being drawn up and made available to see... " They can either deliver something or they cant, it is massively disrespectful to string us paying supporters along when we put our hard earned cash into the club. They are treating us like morons and like we don't have a brain cell between us, not intelligent people who work for living in our respective fields with qualifications and can see F all is happening, the bloody ex-manager has said so himself. As i've said if nothing changes at the Gas i will be walking away unfortunately, after 25 years supporting the club i wont tolerate being lied to statement after statement by the owners.

Other than 'You're not getting your stadium', I can't think of a single informative 'official statement' from the owners that could be used to distinguish fact from rumour. I don't recall us having had many. I suppose that since 'The landing lights are on. It's just a matter of crossing the Ts and dotting the Is' and 'First class training facilities under way by summer 2018' came from official sources, they were fact and not rumour.
There's little point in Wael's attempts to stop the spread of rumours when the owners have been the worst offenders. I wouldn't believe a word they said if there were a strong smell of smoke and they all claimed their backsides were on fire.
