Looking at the Starnes interview, it looks like he's doing a lot more than people have said. A lot have said, he only does community work or nothing etc.
He said himself and DC agreed after there weekly meeting on Monday. No mention of Hamer in the talks.
Has Hamer been pushed out for Starnes??? Looks that way.

They have different jobs.
One is the Chairman - a job with specific functions in relation to the board of directors.
One is the CEO - a job with primary responsibility for the executive function of the organisation as a whole.

If the outcome of his weekly meeting is to fire DC then I’d sooner he wasn’t at our club. Ex-Plymouth man in charge on Saturday then, funny that

He was not the same and needs a break from football. I think he will come back stronger. But sometimes managers need a break. He made massive mistakes and was letting the pressure get to him.

Fixed it for you.

Bobby Gould once said to me you should change players every 3 years on a rotating pattern and you should change you manager every 5 years as they go stale and stop having new ideas.

I don’t know what he does at the club. Like most supporters we are fed occasional bits of bullshit but have no real clue what is going on or what direction we are heading. I can’t describe how bloody angry I am with this shower at the moment. Wael was happy enough to walk down Glos Road when we got promoted, so why doesn’t he cone out from behind the sofa and appear on Having a Gas or do a Q and A at the Mem?

I think Hamer's days are numbered along with Tommy Widdrington. - If SH goes Gorringe could quickly follow.

Is it too much to ask for Rovers to give us fans an indication of what sort of roles our staff have? I honestly don't see why they wouldn't tell us, unless it's because they're not doing much. I actually think it'd go some way to alleviating some of the anger towards the club if they engaged with the fans and had a more open approach to showing how the daily running of the club works.

One spends all day digging holes and the other spends all day filling holes. Money well spent.

Blimey no wonder Man Utd were so rubbish for so long under Ferguson. They should have gone through at least 5 managers in that time.

Waste of good wages, the pair of them. Certainly don't need them both...even if one moved on that £75k plus that could be better used.

Blimey no wonder Man Utd were so rubbish for so long under Ferguson. They should have gone through at least 5 managers in that time. That's an exception,a lot of manager's need a break though. Look at Mourinho, has early success then struggles and looks like he's having a break down. Has a break then comes back stronger. DC this season has looked like that. He looks he's going to break down in most the interviews. Whether that's the pressure of struggling or he's watered off about other things, he looked like he needed a break.
