I suppose it depends on whether you believe the last statement about "Many months of effort, and not inconsiderable cost, have been put into this possibility of a new stadium and training ground development." Personally I have my doubts and the timing of the statement was suspicious to say the least. Being completely honest, I've given up any hope of a stadium being built/redeveloped AND the training ground getting sorted under this inept regime. We will find out when the accounts are published. Not until the following year though. But they can't hide it long term. We know they were looking into Uwe or others when the last accounts were published. As they wrote off over a million. They wouldn't have spent that, looking into it, of they didn't want to do it. Right there....why spent 18 months and a million quid negotiating something that they must have been aware of........they claim it was not a good deal for Rovers. It seemed to take them an awful long time (and money) to come to that conclusion, unless there were other reasons..........

I think its quite interesting that Hamer is no longer on RB doing comms either. Back to Brookman and guest summarisers, like Lord Byron.

We don't know all of that money was looking into Uwe, could have included other potential projects. Plus that was only a year's accounts. People can twist it how they want. I don't know what is happening, all I know is we can see, that were looking into things at one stage. We will find out again, when accounts come out again. I'm not saying we can or can't trust them. Fact is, we don't know.

Fwiw I'd leave out that stuff about the Dec 23rd release. That's just a red herring. Everyone says they want more communication, but they really don't. What they want is to be told what they want to be told. Anything else is just proof to them that the board are sh**e. Istm our fans will whine about any sort of communication unless it's announcing Messi on a free and the opening of our new all-seater stadium with standing area. So that should read 'case in point, our fans will whine about any communication so why am I even bothering to ask you for it?' And after we get Messi on a free and we’re in our new all seater stadium , fans will start moaning we haven’t got a world class midfielder to feed Messi . Football fans always moan .

Did he depart with DC & MS as it's odd he seems to have disappeared since they departed, or is he just stuck in the stairwells at Sunderland looking for the exit door?

New ground , revamped mem , training ground , ain’t gonna happen with this lot in charge. Don’t trust anyone of them. Cause there ambition is to waiste away there money??? They just love throwing it away lol If you like to believe in what they say great , that’s your prerogative, I happen to think they have absolutely no interest in sorting a new ground / revamped mem / new training ground. Excuse after excuse , delay after delay and it’s always someone else’s fault , DC said in his final interview that the ground / training ground wouldn’t be happening during his tenure ( obviously before him leaving ) his word was and would still carry more truth than our owners. Nothing would please me more than to be totally wrong, by the way , there is no need to reply to my post with such sarcasm as I’m only giving my opinion as you are yours

Couple of observations:
1) Starnes being wheeled out for Darrell leaving doesn't mean Hamer has disappeared. They have different roles at the club and it looks like Starnes deals with the personnel & operating matters like who our manager is and acquisition of players these days. Hamer appears to deal with the future of the club e.g. ownership and stadium matters.
2) The timing of the stadium and training ground announcement buried any form of meltdown or discussion regards what is going on with that. We've been so preoccupied with on the field matters we've not had a meltdown of epic proportions to draw Hamer out of his panic room.
3) Why would the Al Qadis still be around if they had no plans at all? They're haemorrhaging money and will continue to do so until these matters are resolved. If they haven't got the flavour to spend they may as well disappear now.

Think we all knew we wouldn't have it, while he was manager at that stage. Unless it was already built underground lol I was half being sarcastic, half series. Do they just want to waist money?? As if you think they don't have any ambitions, that is what they are doing then?? Unless you think they are doing something. Paying millions a season, increasing costs without looking into things, makes no sense IMO.

What about match day commentary as that comes under neither of those headings? Hamer has completely disappeared, the stadium announcement was just made by a " club spokesperson" and Bryon Anthony, Newport's Head of Academy, was dug up from somewhere to do the Oxford commentary, it's all a bit odd, it'll be interesting to see if he makes a return tomorrow night. As far as the ALQ's still be around, I doubt it's easy to walk away from a loss making football club even if they wanted to, it'll now be interesting to see how much they spend, or don't spend, this month on new players.

Sorry mate, I supported this and signed the letter but why send it to Hamer?
May as well have wiped your arse with it and thrown it down the toilet
