The problem is that to them we are not fans, but just customers. I think when you look at how much financially we as fans contribute compared to the cost of running the club, it's very little.

It should be stressed about the 'quality' of communication also: make sure you mention the statement last January about the consultants, the interview with Wael in August, the Hamer interviews and the statement about the magical piece of land at Christmas. Ask Steve how all that looks from a supporter's point of view: we are being told stuff that could be made up or simply being told nothing at all. One on it's own is nothing, however when you get a years worth of these types of communications it starts to seem like a tactic. If the board want the full support of the fans (although they probably don't care) then we need communication of substance. Perfect thanks! Can't see your effort coming to much, but I've signed and wish you luck.

Tommy : One burning question. Is there going to be NO new training ground if there is NO new stadium coming ?

Cheers Tommy great work!
What I'd love to ask him is if they think it's acceptable to have gone public with large-scale intentions for the Colony, only for it to now be shelved due to "costs being higher than originally anticipated". Does that not suggest that due diligence was not performed. Also relating to the Colony is the statement at the March AGM that the planning application would be submitted within the next 6-8 weeks I believe it was. Nobby may correct me there. Seeing as that is almost a year ago, it would render that statement false, yet there doesn't seem to be any logical explanation for an application not to have been made.

I don't see the point to be honest.
Do you think anyone is going to believe anything he tells you anyway?

www.change.org/p/wael-al-qadi-open-letter-to-the-board-of-bristol-rovers-football-club/u/23860806Looks like this has just ticked over 1000 signatures. Huge thanks to everyone who has signed and remember its not too late to add your signature if you haven't already. Me and Steve have arranged to meet before the Wycombe home game. I'll be taking notes and will feedback on the outcomes (if any). I'm aiming to impress on Steve the importance of the fans knowing what the boards long term plan is and how we can open up lines of communication going forward. If there are any burning questions you think I should ask, feel free to add to this thread. Cheers Tom Thanks, I have signed up & well done on your efforts here. It tend to think that you will just get corporate responses or guess of the top of his head with SH, but best of luck anyway. In light of the Severcider Texts saga with KM, perhaps you can ask what the owners relationship with the SC is?

Wouldn't it be better to ask "how" rather then "what" . cos he'll likely say it's good !

Also a goodie would be to ask "over a 1,000 signatures what do you think about that ?" Then ask the question again at the end of the meeting -saying it'd be better if wael could respond face to face with a representative group - That's communication right !

Yes, it was a bit like Wael asked the Chairman to investigate the Ken Masters text messages. So, what exactly was the contents of these text messages then? You said you would publish them but I seem to have missed it if you did. So You didn’t request the contents of the text then?

Yes I did, but I didn't bring up the subject, I responded to someone else who brought it up. If it wasn't mentioned on this thread I would not have brought it up. Why is that so hard for you to understand?

It’s not hard to understand Hugo, but you requested this sh**e to be made public on here by severnsider after it died a death! No one else. Just to heap sh**e on Ken Masters I presume.

Went OK. I've got about an hour and a half of audio to cut down. Some of it is unusable due to quality. I'll release it as soon as I can. Working away this week so it won't be until next week I would imagine.

So what's happened to this, are we actually going to hear what SH had to say given that we now seem to be reaching crisis point as a club?
