He's had one good game, let's wait and see how he plays over a period of games? yeah let’s wait till he cracks 20 in so we can’t afford him

So because you didn't see him, well keep waiting and waiting until you see him. By which time he may have scored a few more goals and end up being worth a ridicilous amount of money? We've got to take a gamble at some point and from what I've seen of him, I think he's worth a punt now whilst we have possibly a slight chance of getting him. Because you can guarantee we'll have no chance if he keeps yesterday up.
I have seen him play, (he has played more than once for us you know?) hence why I wouldn't sign him yet. I just don't judge a player after one game.
Well.. I’ve seen him play against, Yeovil, Swansea U21’s, Sunderland, Walsall & Oxford and he keeps getting better and better. He’s strong, sharp and his movement is great but then he has only played ‘one game’ . It’s easy enough criticising a player when you look at results and stats from your armchair. Reminds me of Tom Nichols in the last few games he started under DC..

If you went to Sunderland & Walsall you’d realise how good of a player he is 😂

If you went to Sunderland & Walsall you’d realise how good of a player he is 😂 But he didn't score, therefore he couldn't have played well 🙈

Yeah lets sign him up after one good game, if he turns out to be sh!t no worries, he did score twice against Oxford after all.... Great idea.....
Its not after one good game though is it? He's played well in every game since DC's gone and couldn't judge him before as he didn't get a chance. He's strong, quick, has an eye for goal. What's not to like? yet you wrote him off 2 months ago...
We never looked like scoring today really, again! We have sold our 2 best strikers and replaced them with 2 poor ones

Also have you thought his fitness is improving and improving his game by getting regular appearances... Makes sense to me!
Yeah, lets sign someone because his fitness is improving....
sarcasm is the lowest form of wit Gas heads are better than that

We win 3 games and fans lose their minds. FFS, it's no wonder owners disregard their views. It's pathetic..

He signed a 4 year deal in Aug 16, so I doubt we can afford to buy him out of that contract.

Heard it from someone at the game yesterday, shame he isn’t, if he scores 10more between now and the end of the season he’ll be off to a champ club and we’ll have no chance Hi both. This is something I mentioned on here last night about contradicting info. If you go on traansfermarket site etc on Google it says this summer but that article clearly makes it sound like summer of 2020. Didn’t DC say something in the summer about only wanting signing loanee’s that had a year to run on their contracts so they can try them out instead of just developing another clubs player? Assuming Watford stay in the prem and he doesn’t score 15-20 goals between now and the end of the season, we might get lucky that he goes under the radar, certainly worth putting bids in for him and Bonham at the very least.

Rovers fans know a good striker when they see one, at nearly every opportunity he’s been given, Jakubiak has impressed and the last 4 games he’s been really really good. I guess people just don’t want to see a repeat of Telford whereby we let a decent loanee striker slip through our hands to another club.

Put it this way....if we paid £200k for Payne then Jakubiak is worth a £400k bid from the off given the goals he has scored and his style of play.

Watched him at Burton away, thought no big deal. A great prospect for development, agreed. The answer to all our problems? Let's see.

It would have to be an extremely cheeky bid unless Hani received a money tree for Xmas. Way out of our budget and wages I fear.
